i hadn't noticed any tinge once the covers are off matt, but eh *shrug*

it's not the clear cover that gives the tinge, but the green bulb covers inside. they're not had to take out, my dash is just the yellow/white light of the globes also, search for KE70 Dash to get an idea

hmm, so the adaptor plate is just mounted to the bellhousing.. made from thick steel i'm guessing.. did you need a custom shaft or whatever? any pics of it close up by any chance?
