  1. you sire are a dicktease
  2. shoulda just gone to nick's place :jamie:
  3. using the washers which were there, just metal ones.. and the distributor only goes in one way, luckily :/
  4. Now I'm f@$king angry again, ARGH! I replaced the points and rotor cap yesterday, left the old condenser on, as I realised i'd bought the wrong one. So I adjusted the timing slightly and the car ran 100% better as I went back to stupidcheap to get the right one. Once I get back home, I replace the condenser, realising that I had to remove the whole distributor to undo the screw to change the condenser. This is where I start to have problems again. Once i'd put everything back together how it had been, it then wasn't running properly and just conking out after struggling to start. Eventually I got jack of it and left it for the night. Go back to it this morning, and it'll crank over BUT IT'S NOT f@$kING STARTING!!.. I've pulled it all off, put the old stuff back on, put combinations of old/new on and put all the new stuff back on. I'm f@$king lost and have no idea what's wrong.. top it all off now it's my only car as i've deregistered the Century.. ARGH, f@$k CARS...
  5. needs lowering, looks like a micromachine :)
  6. OK, Since I can't find the info on the FAQ etc :) I need to know the timing settings for the 4AC rwd (in case it's different from fwd) other things like points gap etc would be superb. Cheers
  7. Um, That my dear friend is the Toyota 2000GT. It was a VERY LIMITED RUN, one starred in a James Bond flick and they are SUPER RARE FUNTIME HAPPYHOURDAYSLOVE!!!! ie: LOTS of toyogeeks would sell both nuts for one, I know I would.
  8. since it'll most likely need a respray.. that's over $2500 so mandatory to report to the cops... since you have, let them deal with it... sucks though, kick the c**t in the area where his balls should be.* *i don't condone this :)
  9. YAY RACE FAST SAFE CAR :D Ah well, Happy f@$kin' birthday for 4th July (belated or future) :)
  10. so there, f@$kers :) *humps his V8 Race Experience ticket :D*
  11. Nice one for doing up somewhat mate.. good luck :)
  12. wow.. if you get that, when's the divorce? :)
  13. thanks guys, will keep them in mind :D
  14. I swear, cars are out to f@$king piss me off just for fun... It's now running fine as of half way through tonight, not like a 3 cylinder... so i'm guessing there was some trash or bad fuel in the bottom of the tank which dissipated after I filled up. Thanks nick, that's good to know. Also, it's temp is now sitting on half way constantly, so I'm guessing that i've finally hit THAT nail on the head. GRRR, cars... gotta love them
  15. well, it's tomorrow.. and guess what I find out this morning... MY MECHANIC HAS RETIRED :D It's a pity too, because he is a Toyota nut and specialist. SO, can anyone recommend a good mechanic around Northgate/Virgina/Toombul/Etc that they've used, Cheers, Matt ;)
  16. oooh thats right, forgot about that car race... no problems, i'll just take it to my mechanic tomorrow, i'm running outta time :D
  17. Well I swapped the temp sender over today that I got of Nicko yesterday. It seems to be reading better, but still around halfway, this was on a 10min drive probably. I did notice though that it's seemed to have drunk some coolant from the overflow bottle, I didn't know it can flow BACK into the radiator from there, or am I just seeing things (No, the bottle doesn't have a leak). Anyway, Nicko if you're not busy on Sunday, wanna come round and help me try to fix the timing/fueling issues, maybe that'll help temp as well... I'll pay ya in snags on the bbq :)
  18. Ouch man, you're lucky it wasn't worse :)
  19. thermostat is fine... i don't think it's overflowing, but it is getting very hot... when i take the lid off the overflow steam comes out... i haven't gotten round to trying to fix the timing, rich running etc because i've been trying to get the heat issue solved.. and I haven't had the chance to come get that sender you said you have... actually I might sms you now see if you're home :)
  20. Nick... Sitting idle, but also when driving the temp gauge soars up to boiling point fairly quickly... I've checked the timing before and it's pretty well on 0. NoPSI... i can't detect any leaks around the head at all, and it's the standard clutch fan which is spinning fine that would be super swell justo :) So yeah, I'm at wits end, I really am :y:
  21. hahahaha nice bois! :)
  22. OK... I am now Officially PISSED OFF, and f@$kING LOST AS TO WHY IT'S STILL BOILING!!! :y: I put the whole cooling system back together today with all new gaskets, NO LEAKS that I can detect, BRAND NEW water pump, good coolant (even used some straight concentrate in it), fan works, filled it up with the fan going to eliminate air pockets etc. :) Anyone else got any ideas, because I'm all f@$king out.... :y: Oh and the car needs to be working properly by the 26th, since that's when the Century runs out of rego and comes off the road. :( Man I'm pissed off. :'(
  23. god they're close to the strut tower :) still looking hot though
