It's blue smoke mainly, it could be using excessive fuel but I don't think so as it's a burnt oil smell as well. It's not blowing constantly, mainly on acceleration, doesn't seem to be on idle.

So, come on guys.... the rear of my panelvan is like this O/---o---\O plus an interesting fact with the AE71 panelvans is that apparently they have the ae86 front suspension setup as toyota figured it would help with load carrying, whereas the sedans/wagons don't :P

you've definitely got a short somewhere, first of all check the wires around your lights (front and rear) then work towards your fuse boxes :P
