    I'm 'pretty sure' that the panelvan was the only imported one and the sedan/wagon were built here from bare frames

    You would be fully correct. They started building them here as the AE71 high roof panelvans. I have one of each :evil:

    Unless you actually fixed every piece of rust in it properly with metal, proper respray, replaced the cracked dash surround and freshened up the driveline etc then you won't get $3000 for it. As is, you've done a nice job it seems and you'd probably get around $1500. Or just keep it as they rule :)
