  3. no, america just has emissions standards, especially in california, wher they can sieze your car if it has been modified my old struts had a flat plate with 4 bolts holding it on and two wheel cyls maybe felix or rol-110 can post pics? my old struts are in san diego "k" model corollas are pretty rare out here; most were 2tc's
  4. ok for those who don't know america requires a LOT of extra safety equipment, making the cars MUCH heavier, most notably....the bumpers, they wiegh at least 50lbs each bubba (1982 te72 t50 3tc air con) with my fatass in him wieghs 2580lbs daisy (1969 ke18 4ke k60 aircon cruise) with my fat ass wieghs 2220lbs!!!!! my fat ass wieghs 280lbs......ya i'm a big ol' boy :)

  8. ok, i 'm buying an '86 mits p/u with a 2.0 g63b engine....sohc 8 valve carb i found a '91 GALANT 2.0 4g63 engine......12? valve sohc efi will this interchange? i've googled, msn'd, and i KNOW this is a TOYOTA site, but maybe someone will know....

  13. looking for a g63b engine for mish truck an came across a familiar auto trans bolted to an engine block sure enough it had a "teg" cast into it. i couldn't identify it (upside down, no head) when i flipped it, i found it was a 6 cylinder 5m was stamped in the id plate now this engine isn't very long....i think it would fit in a 7 series.....

  18. i think they always were hiluxes, but after '74 they were just a toyota truck. until the tacoma came out in japan they were still called hilux
