Can nitrous be ran on a hi comp engine ? Looking at the 60 thou over shot peen the rods then a 50- hp shot of nos with completly built head and cam.

ok before i thought about the whole decking the block thing i was looking at with a 83.5mm piston and a 75 mm stroke i could get a 1.64 l engine but cing at we would be decking the block would be going down in cc anyway. bugger so anyone got ideas on going on stroking the 5k i strarting to think its all to hard and that id be better to just got the 60 thou acls and then see what i can do with that i guess witch will give me a 1.58L wich would be good

Philpey- well id be happy with 82mm will have to find out what a set of them are worth TRD-so the a rods do fit the crank ? That you know of. if thats true it would only cost max 1.5k to do it and would be feasable to it bit buy bit. As it is my dream is is to have a 100 rwkw engine in a corolla weather ill get close to that or not i don't mind i just want a mad sounding free revving engine.

what pistons is every one putting in there 5ks ? I'm looking oversize round 1.5 so 83 ml or around about anyway.

Hey I don't no if anyone is going to give to much info away but I'm looking for a couple thing one being The max a 5k can be bored out to ? What pistons can be used to suit this bore size yet keep compression (was looking at 4age but they have dished pistons) Also keeping same pin size so can connect up to 5k rods Its all just and idea at the moment but if i get some spare cash i wouldnt mind going for the Highest HP/kw N/A K engine

what car will i find that have ignitors ? should i expect a better throtle response power gain and all the est or is it mainly for reliability

Ok OLD thread dig I Have purchased a 4k electronic dizzy External ignitor i think what do i need to connect this a ignitor and A coil but from what ? how do i wire it up and of what model cars cheers

rob from wha ive read u seem to be on the track that clean the edges up and top up as that flows the most match it for that then polish it but leave the step on the bottom. Has anyone mucked around with the bowl ? any large gains to be had or a bit of waist of time ?
