  1. Nah they're not a matching set. I bought them at different auctions. One pair are Hoshino Mesh and the other are SSR mesh.
  2. Cheers mate. The front pair need some paint. I want it black all round. When the wheels arrived, I just wanted them on the car and didn't get a chance to spray them. hahaha
  3. Cheers mate. The wheels alone set me back ~$850 with Rays Engineering wheel nuts. I haven't had the chance to install them yet. Yep, definitely wheel rubbage. hahahha. It rubs pretty bad with just me in the car, but add another 2 (like I did Friday night) and you get..... well tyre bits and pieces all over the place.
  4. It's been raining for ages here in Melbourne, but I had a chance to go out and take some photos. Not the best pics, but here they are. Let me know what you think guys/girls. Cheers
  5. Yep, I agree. Cheers mate. I think a 185 is just too small for a 7.5" rim to be legal, but if I had run 195's it wouldn't have fit. I don't mind a bit of stretch, but each to their own.
  6. Here are my wheels. 15x7.5 -8 offset wheels wearing 185/55 tyres (my speedo was out so I used larger profile tyres to make up for it). Flare work was involved for them to fit.
  7. My wheels have arrived! They were sitting at my front door yesterday afternoon. I got some tyres put on them this afternoon and haven't had the chance to fit them to the car yet. Too dark. No chance of getting them on tomorrow either, finish school at 5:30. :poke: I'll post up pics once they're all on. I'm also in the market for some xt130 lower control arms too! So if you know of anyone selling one, let me know.
  8. My wheels have arrived. They're 15x7.5 -8 (roughly the same as 8" with 0 offset), I'll be getting tyres for them tonight and hopefully get the rears on. Will post up pics once they're all done.
  9. Here's a members ride over on ae86dc. He's running 15x8 0 offset all round on 195/50's I think. The wheels I'm waiting on from Japan will be 15x7.5 -8. I'll make sure to post some pics of them once they're installed. They're taking a while though, been 8 weeks now and they haven't even touched Australian shores. :D
  10. Car's looking good mate. I personally liked the white better. Keep us updated!
  11. Don't forget to keep us updated! I've got the exact same issue with my box, but I've got no idea what to do about it. I think I'm just going to keep driving it till it dies.
  12. Most people install the sigma and corona arms to get NEGATIVE camber. You're trying to get positive camber so you'll need a shorter lower control arm. The only way I see you can get positive camber is to get camber tops. If you really meant negative camber (which I think you did :lolcry: ), the corona you should get your arms from are the xt130 models. Not too sure about the sigma ones though. No other modifications are needed for the corona arms. Sigma you'll need other things, can't remember what they were.
  13. I've got a pic with 15x8 0 offset challengers on the rears. I'll post it when I get home.
  14. Car's looking nice with the meshies up front. What are the widths and offset on them? With the gland nut, use a pipe wrench or a big shifter. And I mean big! I've got this big one (probably the biggest shifter I've seen) and it was slightly too small. Had the tap it on with a hammer.
  15. Here's a pic of the wheels. The black centered ones are for the rear and silver for the front. The silver pair are rusting up from the photos so I'll need to get the cleaned up once they arrive.
  16. Okay, I think it's time for a little update. :D Since my last post, I've got the 8kg springs installed, they were originally about and inch or two above what they were in the pics and I wasn't happy with the height so I 'cut' them down and now they're just as low as they are in the photos. :hmm: The rust in the rear's been fixed. Back to 'normal' now, but that area's in a different colour. It's slightly lighter and shinier than the rest of the car. I bought a tacho cluster off a member on here about 2-3 weeks ago. It felt strange at first having a tacho there instead of a clock. lol Oh and I also purchased a set of wheels off yahoo auctions Japan. :hmm: They're expected to arrive in about 3-6 weeks time. They're 15x7 and 15x7.5 with a +5 and -8 offset respectively, ssr and hoshino mesh wheels. I'll make sure to post up some pics when they arrive and I get them on the car.
  17. Ah yes, I've always wanted to do what you've done to your car. Too bad I've got no money. hahaha
  18. Welcome to rollaclub.com mate! What's your username on sau.com and any pics of your car? I used to drive a four door 32 gts-4 as well, but can't now because of laws. I'm a regular user of sau.com so you would've seen my posts quite a bit. |blink|
  19. Definitely :) If not that, maybe even an SR20/CA18. :(
  20. They're a bit of a pain to adjust though. Have to keep running in and out to get the right angle. Should've got electronic ones. I ended up getting the new springs in this afternoon with the new shocks and the ride isn't too bad. I thought the springs felt a little soft, but when getting installed, they had to get compressed to sit in the strut which meant they're already under some tension so they're stiffer than first though. Overall, I'm quite happy with the ride, but the car sits a 'little' higher than what it was before. I'll try to get some pictures up, but it's about an inch or 2 higher than what it is in the photo's I posted up the other week. I'm also in the process of fixing the little bit of rust up behind the rear wheel. I'll try to get some pictures up of the finished product. Next mod: Wheels. ;)
  21. Okay, my front springs have just arrived and I'm not convinced that they're 8kg/mm. :hmm: From just squeezing the springs with my hands they feel softer than my rear springs (they were ~6kg/mm) and from my calculations, they only work out to be about 1.8kg/mm. :jamie: So I'm not happy. I guess I just have to install them and see how they go. If they're too soft, I'll have to get ANOTHER pair of front springs. They seem too bloody long as well! They're about 300mm in length free height. If they were 8kg/mm, they'll be like sitting at standard height! I'll keep you all posted. Just not happy at the moment. :sob:
  22. haha what the f@$k? Anyway, my new front springs are on their way to me. I'm hoping that they're not too high. Maybe an inch or an inch and a half higher than what it is now and it'll be perfect. :jamie: I'll post again once the new springs and shocks go in. Cheers
  23. When I was in the market for one, I was looking at $6k+ for a sr20 version. Not sure how it is now, but I don't think there's any difference. Since the 'no turbo, v8' laws came in, their prices have risen, similar to the ae86's, but not that bad. I had heaps planned for the S13, but things just don't work out in life.
  24. For those of you who are into silvia's, this is pretty much what I wanted my S13 to look like. Just a standard S13 with a 180 front on tight fitment wheels. :)
