Looking good mate. I'm personally not a fan of the 'bigger wheels up front' look, but yeah, looks good. I see that your front bumper is higher on the drivers side. Mine was like that as well, didn't know why, but it's gone now. :no2:

I've got no idea about welders, but Home Hardware had a CIG (I think it was CIG) welder which was 140amps for sale at ~$129 if I can remember correctly. Came with some safety gear or something I can't remember. I thought that was pretty cheap. No idea to be honest.. :no2:

That's farked dude.. I saw your nick on msn, but didn't get a chance to talk to ya. Sorry I couldn't make it last night either. I would've been more keen if I didn't have an open wheeler. :jamie: Let me know if I can do anything to help. I'll probably head to the wreckers sometime tomorrow or next week and can get some parts if needed. -
Ah, car's looking good! A little higher in the back and a new front bumper ( :jamie: ) and it'll look sweet. Will that make it 2 sets of meshies!?

I still live under their roof so want to listen to them and make them happy as much as possible. Just me I guess. The pictures I last posted up of the sticker and that, the passenger side had both the 15x7.5 -8 offset wheels, the driver's side had the normal fronts on and spare wheel out back. I just wanted to see how it'll look if I put them up front and got 8" -2 offset wheels for the back (they sit as they do now if not a little weaker) so it gave me an idea. Edit: Car's currently the way it's supposed to. 15x7 +5s up front and 15x7.5 -8 out back.

My wheels are no longer for sale. Dad cracked the shits when I took them off ready for a buyer. Told me not to waste money on wheels again. hahah Oh well...

Gold centres for sure. :sob: With the dish on the meshies, I personally prefer the step in them. I've got both styles and the stepped one looks better. It was probably because the one with the step had more dish though. hahah

Looks pretty tough man. Perfect ride height for it to look good in my opinion. Good luck using the mirrors! :sob: -
Dandenong or Oakleigh Vicroads are the places to go from what I've heard. :sob:

Www.rollaclub.com Stickers Now Avaliable !
adam-__- replied to Teddy's topic in Automotive Discussion
My stickers turned up today. Thanks Teddy :sob: -
My rollaclub stickers turned up in my letter box today and here are some pics of them on my car. I put them in positions you wouldn't normally put them so I'm unique. Here are some more pictures of the 7.5" -8 wheels up front. This time I kept them in the rear as well just to see how it'll look. I was planning on getting 15x8.5 -10s for the rear once I sell my front pair, but they're so expensive!! I can't afford! So I'm thinking of just getting some 15x8s -2, they'll sit pretty much how my rears currently are, but will have more stretch. More stretch means more guard clearance meaning I'll have to and will probably use spacers to make them flush again. The 8.5s start at around 60,000 yen and the 8" start at 30,000yen. Only reason why I'm even considering 8" which sit as they do now. :sob: Edit: The way I spelt something gave a picture of a guy that looks like this

Fark! How many coils are left? 1? hahah that's crazy low man.

:sob: Driving around on the bump stops is insane. I wouldn't recommend Sierra shocks, I personally find them to be too harsh with falcons. They're alright, but if I were to get shocks again, it wouldn't be Sierras. A few people seem to be happy with them though.

** cough ** AusPost are here to help ** cough ** I think flipping it over would work. Will just have to learn how to weld or something first. Nothing important at the moment though. Cheers

I've just come back from doing a little something with my wheels. Some of you might know that I was never really happy with my front wheel's fitment and feel like getting a new pair. I'm not too sure as to what specs I would need to get the look I'm after for the fronts so I thought I would just trial fit my rear wheels on the front and decide from that. Here are a few photos. This is my rear wheels, 15x7.5 -8 with 185/55 tyres on the front and front wheels, 15x7 +5 185/55 tyres on the rear. Favourite pic. Here are some more pictures to show how my front wheels would look on the rears. I reckon these would be PERFECT for just rolled E7 guards. 14mm socket to show how large the gap is. And below is the same, but with the rear wheels up front. I think I'm gonna purchase new wheels for the rear and put my current rears up front. Edit: I forgot to mention, MY FRONT WHEELS ARE FOR SALE!!! They come with tyres which have legal tread. I'm thinking $450ono for them.

Yeah, I (well my dad) was thinking that at one stage. It could probably work, but I don't want to pull it off now that it's on to be honest. Was a pain in the arse to mount in the correct position. I'll probably give that a go if I get bored though. :bash: There's nothing really wrong with the underside of the bar if I can remember correctly. Will just have to drill new holes for the number plate light, nothing major. The bars don't look too bad overall though. I'm happy with them. Up close it's pretty bad, both the front and back, but it'll do.
-
Nice buy! $100, you can't complain about that. Looks like it's in very good condition too! Any plans for it apart from getting it rego'd?
-
Eeek. Didn't realise it would take that long. If it means loading the rest of the page will take longer then I guess I should take it down, but if everything else loads fine and my sig just finishes loading later on, I'm find with that. How's the page loading work? Would it load everything top to bottom or load the smallest files first? I can't seem to remember now that I think about it.

I think bogging it up or something will work and look nice, something like Daim's ride, but then I'll need to respray which I'm not too keen on at the moment. It does look a little 'not quite right' but yeah, nothing I can really do at this stage.
-
Mine okay? I think it's around 70kb which is bigger than most I've seen. Let me know and I'll change it if it doesn't pass. Cheers

Okay I finally got my rear bar mounted. Looks a bit dodgy and the way I went about mounting it was dodgy too! Not knowing how to weld sucks. Here are the pics anyway. I did the best I could to get it sitting right. Seems to hit the sides though, not sure how those other guys went about getting over it though. Doesn't look too bad from a distance, but pretty shocking up close. Edit: I just remembered that these photos were taken BEFORE I actually mounted it. With it mounted it sits pretty much in the same position as in photos anyway..
-
 Cheers man. Yeah, after having it on for a while, the rear bar looks like it's sticking out too much now. Need to do something about it, but I'm not sure what. Hey, I bought them from my local supercheap store. Didn't plan on getting them at all, just saw them and thought 'why not'. Paid $40 for the pair I think.. WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THE REAR BAR!?!?!?!?!?!? :bash: I can't weld...
-
So... clean... ;) All of it. How'd you go about getting the rear bars to fit mate? I've got some at the moment, but not sure how to go about getting them fitted. Did you use the T18 brackets and re-drill it (is that possible?) or did you mod the standard KE items? ;)
-
Thanks for the comments guys, I think I will leave the bumpers on. ;) I've grown to like the look of it I think. Oh I also just realised that my car's got the same look as Todd's (guy over in WA with silver KE70 with wagon bars). He's also got the standard Aussie delivered front with the chrome bars plus lip. Before anyone says it, I did NOT copy him. I never had plans on putting chrome bars or quads on my ride. The bars just popped up pretty cheap and they were in good condition. ;) The bars also add more 'bling' to my ride (chrome mirrors, wheels and now bars). Will let you all know how the rear bumpers work out.
