FIRST OFFICIAL VICTORIAN ROLLACLUB CRUISE 2006 Date: Saturday 22nd April 2006 Time: Late morning departure to destination/early evening departure from destination. Meet Points: (Reason for separate meet points is for Northern and Western members to travel together to meet up with Southern and Eastern members and then all travel together) Northern and Western Members: Northland Shopping Centre, Murray Road, Preston (The car park next to the cop station, across McDonalds) Latest time of departure from this point: 11:00am sharp Southern and Eastern Members: Brickmakers Park (Stamford Road, Oakleigh) Latest time of departure from this point: anytime after 1:00pm We are joining a couple of forums for a BBQ at Brickmakers and from there, we will shoot off to Arthurs Seat. We most likely won't be stopping once we leave the park, as we will have had something to eat/drink and toilet break and vehicle checkup time too. What to bring? Well, that's easy... yourselves, your friends and/or family, your rollas (obviously) and some nibblies and drinks for along the way. Maps and guides will be handed out on the day by myself. Purpose of this cruise? It's a social event, so it gives all members (old and new) a chance to talk with one another, you get to see some corollas that have been worked on, whether it be for pure restoration or modified pleasure, you can ask any questions you like and there is bound to be somebody there with answers. Plus, this cruise will also show there IS actually life away from the screen, where we seem to spend a fair bit of our time in front of! (can't deny that fact unfortunately... well some more than others... but anyways... back on topic) :P MOST IMPORTANT: Rollaclub does not condone any form of racing or reckless driving. Please be a responsible driver (please no tailgating, silly overtaking etc) If we see any of this we will ban you from any further cruises and possibly ban from the site. Well... that's the icing on the cake then. Case closed. My rubbers I got for my car (KE35) I had to order through Rares Spares... cost me bugger all. That was a while ago, I'm sure they still have them. Anybody who does windscreen removal/fitting could point you in the right direction with that though.

Well, performance upgrade is on my list, so I'm the kind of person that would like to do the job right the first time. Suspension, diff, brakes, body, interior, all getting done once and that's it. Stereo and motor... well... that's another story! :P But yeah, I've got the engine in mind and it's capable of decent output (like 200rwbhp) so I'm wanting to make sure it stops. I'm just throwing up options here. So what's the specs on the Corona upgrade?

Thought I'd dig this one up guys, I'm just looking at brake upgrades on my KE55 (which I'm yet to register.. I know, I'm just buying parts and I'll throw everything on at once! Make a big show out of it!) I'm VERY new to doing a brake upgrade, so I was looking at maybe VT Commonwhore V8 rotors/calipers on the front and HQ drums on the rear OR Mazda RX7 S4 front brakes and possibly a rear disc conversion. I know it's mega buck, but I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't gonna pay for it, true? Fook/Red... your brake setup on your car now, how have they gone with the hiding you guys give your cars and have you done any upgrades as of yet? (Installs sponge into brain for replies on this one) :P

What you choose to do once you get to Arthur's Seat after a couple of hours is up to you, dude. You can boot anytime you like afterwards... even if you stay for like an hour or two to chat to everyone, quickly eat then jet, we ain't going to hold it against you ;) NOT coming at all... will be viewed as a criminal offence! :D hahaha
