Valentines Day is also my Dad's birthday So i had the girlfriend stay the night Gave her a necklace with a heart shaped, diamond encrusted charm, a single pink rose, and a box of Ferrero Rochers. I was given a chocolate rose and a little note which made my day The joy's of being in love :wink:

I was in Lilydale today for something to do with year 12 at Swinburne University and the place was covered in a thick blanket of choking smoke, and at this minute we have a blood red sun.. Healesville fires are too close...

Our School has been raising funds, and since Tuesday we have raised almost $5000, not to mention all the clothes, apparel and furniture etc that we have received. Next year i am to join the CFA, health permitting.

Just go away fires you've caused enough grief, leave as fast as you came, please...

Wouldn't surprise me if Mt Dandenong went up in flames.. Nor would it surprise me if the lilydale fires decided to come hurtling towards Chirnside Park, Mooroolbark and/or Croydon if containment cannot be achieved. All of Kinglake is on fire/burnt out, the pub, dozens of homes etc. The fires that managed to be contained in Bendigo were merely 300m from my girlfriend's grandparent's unit. The worst thing is there is nothing we can do.. :yes:

Now, assuming you all remember the horror that Ash Wednesday brought to Melbourne in the summer of 1983, then brace yourselves... Victoria is on fire all over the state, i am not sure on all details, however there are 40 confirmed dead, places such as Bunyip, Kinglake, Healseveale, Marysville, Alexandra, etc are ablaze. Living so close (Croydon) is frightening. With containment lines broken by 12pm this afternoon, the fires have raged in the heat, with many areas of Victoria reaching almost 50*C and winds reaching 80-90km/h the battle has been treacherous to say the least. May our thoughts be with those who are affected by this terrifying barricade of flames and let us hope these fires can be contained within the next 24 hours to prevent any more deaths. If you believe you know of anybody who may be in the direct line of fire, and cannot contact them, please DO NOT bombard the MFB, CFA or 000 as they are flat out and the congestion in the phone lines are hard to cope with. This day, Saturday February 6th 2009 will go down as possibly the worst fires Victoria have ever encountered. :yes:

The Nullabor will ALWAYS be twice the temperature as it is desert.. Now this heatwave has brought to Melbourne a series of deliberately lit fires.. Some of which are threatening 2/3 of Melbourne's power supply.. Perhaps tie those bastards who lit the fires to the trees in the path of the flames, that'll teach them. I hate summer..

I too thought it was 42 degrees, looks like i was wrong. Dad doesn't particularly want the hassle of complaints and stuffing up any chance of holding onto his job as it's bloody hard to find anything better. I'm just worried about him for tomorrow because the factory will be 40+ inside overnight. And to top it off, in two hours i've got to go out to a mates to collect a pushie so i can fix mine and my girlfriends ones.

Well today is officially the hottest day in the 16 years i have graced this planet with my presence. It's 47 degrees out the back, and our air-con isn't making it bearable. At dad's factory, they didn't stop working all day as their boss is a tightarse and he believes that as long as its under 60 degrees in the factory its okay. Dad informed me it was 58.4 degrees, unbearable, yet if they stopped working they would be sacked. Will this heat in Melbourne just go away? Maybe it's what drove that nutcase 35-year-old man to stop on the West Gate Bridge, get out of his car and throw his 5-year-old daughter over the side to her death. Let's hope he burns in hell. Enough is enough, i'm off to go jump in the freezer with the steaks and cuddle them until i too, am an ice-block.

Illiteracy. How come people can get through life without basic knowledge of correct grammar and punctuation, let alone pronunciation. I ponder these questions whilst roaming the vast landscape of Rollaclub. Although I am classed as 'Gen Y', I do not follow the trend of misspelling words and using slang in all facets of written language. A few Rollaclub users would do with reading this rant and correcting their written language to an acceptable level. Reading a well structured piece of text is much nicer than attempting to decipher the dribble that pours from the fingertips of many. Bah.

I see one thing wrong with the douchebag neck shirt in the above illustration - The sleeves are too low Those shirts have sleeves so high you may as well be wearing a singlet, and it isn't comfortable when you are the type who enjoys building muscle, as people try to start fights due to your size. :lmao: Grow some brains P.S. Turning my lower back into a mangled pile of useless junk Thanks to some bastard at the gym on Saturday! Here's the story - Was at the gym for my usual Saturday morning session in the weights room, i was about an hour into my workout (it wasn't an intense workout, mainly lower weight higher rep stuff) and most of the Saturday regulars where there, which happened to include a fat, short, balding man in his early 40's, who's workout (which takes him 4 hours) consists of nothing but watching everybody else, picking up what everybody else can do and pretending to do it. This fat balding man was sitting at the shoulder press "resting" after a single rep of 60lbs. I had just completed my first set of 15 reps doing mechanical bench press at 220lbs (100kgs). This idiotic, disgusting, lazy son of a bitch decides while i am having a minor rest between sets, head between knees sucking in the big ones, to put the pin to the floor of the weight stack, 300lbs (136kgs i believe), and did it with such fluency i did not notice it. I then laid back into position to go for my second set of 15, maybe push it up to 16, but lo and behold, as i aim to push the handles up my lower back gave as well as my triceps, outer pectoral muscles and both thumbs which were ripped back by the handles. The prick did it to me deliberately and i know why. He knows i watch what he does at the gym, as it is amusing to watch somebody there for hours on end doing nothing and pretending to tense in the mirror and i get the giggles up sometimes. He thought this was hilarious. Needless to say, his membership is canceled, however no further action in the way of paying my medical bills (for remedial massage, chiropractor, doctor etc) has been taken and my father promised him that he will pay one way or another.. Jealousy is pathetic. Payback is worth it sometimes, but a 40 year old man doing something to hurt a 16 year old boy is just outright ridiculous. May he hope to God he stays away from me once I'm fixed and back in the gym. NOW i have incentive to get bigger just to rub it in. /rant P.S. I'm using Fish Oil, strong painkillers, deep heat, a massage every three days and sleeping tablets to live.. Sitting hurts, standing hurts, laying hurts, passing bodily products hurts and thanks to medical bills Dad has no money for Christmas :dance:
