Well, ive been considering a plumbing or even a carpentry apprenticeship also, i think it would be a reasonable career choice. I know for sure uni isn't for me, especially the fact i have a two hour travel by public transport either way, and i just despise lectures, i cannot sit there for hours and attempt to take in information that is so stupidly connected, especially with the idiot who gives the lecture as he always goes off topic and i struggle to take notes and keep up, i got frustrated to the point where i left early because it just about put me in tears.. I know i can work well with my hands, i know i can use my brain rather well, too, but not when I'm being taught a whole load of gobbledy-gook..

I'm not stupid, i know what goes into an apprenticeship. Dave, i love your idea, i'll be looking into that! I'm not sure Croydon tafe does it, but heck, if it did, i could walk to tafe :blinks: Evan, i understand completely what many apprentices cop on a daily basis, but i'd just grit my teeth and keep going. I just need to find myself a mechanic who wants to take me on (perhaps the guy i did work experience for at B&A automotive.. I actually worked, wasn't cleaning, rather enjoyable) Ah well, suppose i just have to apply and ask around and wait. Cheers.

Hey fellas, So, my heart has ALWAYS been set on being a mechanic, however, i ended up at uni this year. After today, my first day, and coming home feeling like i want to put my head through a brick wall, apprenticeship sounds 100x better.. Something i LOVE, earning while i learn and enjoying it, rather than feeling oppressed and emotionally unstable at university. Any mechanic shops near Croydon 3136, PLEASE, take a minute to consider me for an apprenticeship. I'm willing to work my arse off and I'm itching to learn! Peace, Sam.

WGMG: Getting threatened and abused at the local train station by 15 year old rats... Then when you defend yourself, they bring in reinforcements.. Real tough, you wankers.. I'm at the station with my 60 year old mother, coming home from uni orientation day, and you try to pick a fight... Scared my poor mum to bits and caused me to almost explode...

Got bored yesterday, ripped front seats out, wedged behind the seat rail was about $20 in coins AND the nut i needed to fix the front seat adjuster with, which i replaced with another one.. -

Mum insisted i do one of those defensive driving courses.. May as well have spent the money on my car.. Didn't learn how to actually drive defensively in an emergency, merely learned how to drive like a snail.. Was in a Camry, but it felt like i had the handbrake on.. All i learned was that it had a comfy front seat.. You know, can't actually apply anything you learn from these in a practical day to day situation.. Never will i drive down a main road at 50kmh and be so fearful of other cars i cause a completely new hazard on the road.. Little dumb... -
Yeah, just registered on it, thanks again! Can now nut out my temp sensor issues too :hmm:

Cheers man! Luckily ive got free access to all tools at a mates place and somewhere to do it :hmm: Sounds easy enough, didn't think it'd be that difficult, only thing I'm worried about is the spring compression.. Ah, i feel a bit better about doing this now :y:

Yeah, point taken Styler, just wondering in general if anybody had an absolute basic guide to it. Cheers though!

Is there some kind of generic guide on the web to removing a strut and replacing it with another one? Asking purely so i don't frig anything up, as i NEED to get them done quickly and properly :) It's not for a Corolla. Nor do i have the time or money to get a car manual, and the local libraries ones have all 'gone missing'.. ANY help would be appreciated girls and boys :fuzz:

I wouldn't waste a bullet on her... Just annoys the living shit out of me how f@$king pissy people can be, when you date their 'best friend'. Whereas, they are NOT best friends, merely friends, not even close... URGH!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Luckily not from my old high school, back there they're active from year 7, the dirty slappers.. She's a lovely girl though :fuzz: WGMG: Ex girlfriends and their mothers that try to have a say in everything. Just because my new girlfriend is your daughters friend, yes, not best friend, close friend, just friend, nothing more, then I'm accused of being a user, a liar, a cheater and the like, despite me being the one lied to, cheated on and abused continually throughout the last relationship.. If only people knew the full story before they put their two cents in.. TRY not to get anybody hurt, results in my girlfriend being dragged through the mud, and she's dealing with so much other stuff (granddad dying slowly, family stuff, suicidal best friend, rape victim) and now my dumb bitch ex decides to have a go at her.. Ugh.. RAGE :)

Wasn't the highest quality bacon, and i like eggs with the sauce moreso anyway! Well, the lady has been through some bad things before :P and I'm going to help her through them, slowly, but surely, because ive found a girl who treats me right and LOVES motorbikes, HATES shopping and is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out :)
-
Ah you guys make me laugh :) She's in Year 11, i just finished school, so ill excuse her :P But yes, new model, less k's, improved mileage and much better bodywork :bash:

Finding out there is NO tomato sauce in the house AFTER making four eggs and half a kilo of crispy bacon for lunch.. :) On a lighter note, new missus :P

Nah it's not chrones disease, my uncle has that. My heart really does go out to you for having it mate. I think it might just be a stress related thing..

Sadly JiP, most drivers are too busy f@$king around in their cars to take notice of signals, signs and even permanent fixtures and do the wrong thing. You HAVE to look, it's the safest way to get around, can save your life. Has saved mine, however i was on a pushbike, but it's the same principal. Though i'd love to just kick some of those idiots up the arse.. WGMG: Stomach aches.. WHY OH WHY do i get aches when the doctors can't find anything wrong...
-
WGMMFG: BASTARDS WHO USE WOMEN! i WILL hunt them down and turn them into bonnet ornaments.. I don't mean use as in hookup and dump, i mean as in do BAD things.. RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, I'm ready to go chop some balls off... :) :) :)
