  1. Silverra, if you find out some details of his, I WILL CONTACT HIM! THAT IS PORN!
  2. Suppose i should. I might get two, then i can also do the test route.
  3. They're booked. I'll just keep practising till i get it right.
  4. Log book.
  5. So, i'm just about ready to go for my P1 license, and i was just wondering... Do i HAVE to have lessons with a driving instructor prior to this? I've been hearing conflicting stories, and there is nothing on the VicRoads website in regards to it. I feel i am ready to go for it, but i cannot afford lessons unfortunately. Thanks guys.
  6. Thanks man. Wasn't me that was having any trouble, just put me in tears watching my girlfriend crying her heart out. She isn't the crying type... She had both myself and her bestfriend there with her for support and i think we did our jobs well enough.
  7. WGMG! People who blatantly lie about saying something to somebody when you KNOW they have and have witnesses... Stupid as.. On a darker note, i'd like to say R.I.P to my girlfriend's grandfather, David Young, 72 years young. Today wasn't an easy day, being the funeral, but it was done with love and just the way he'd have wanted it. Karlee (My Girlfriend) did amazing in reading out the poem at the service. Twas an interesting 18th birthday, but you've gotta do these things for the ones you love.
  8. You're a bit of a God :jamie:
  9. I believe when you win the lotto, you should drive down here and take me for a spin, eh?
  10. So, FINALLY the car is at the mechanic getting sorted out for the RWC :) I am so pumped :bash: Will be picked up tomorrow with a little piece of paper, then off to VicRoads hopefully on Thursday for rego.. Stupid inspection fee and other crap means ill be paying $750 instead of $575.. Ah well, its all good. On another note, considering ways of increasing fuel efficiency (yeah yeah, buy a Toyota) as i'd like to not be emptying my bank account when i go to the pump. Ideas? When uni is a little less hectic, going to strip some more interior plastics and respray them, did a dummy job on the interior door handles in a machine grey, looked alright
  11. Ah, you're a funny man :bash: I'm enjoying listening to the 'We Are Young Money' album, not bad to chill to behind the wheel, be even better when i get my license next month
  12. So now RC is working FIVE minutes after telling you it wasnt via facebook... Nice rim choice mate :bash: Get some motivation damnit! Set a target date and just work your arse off to get there  Either way, it's going to be a sweeeeet ride :)
  13. Updates Ryan, UPDATES! Like, i enjoy re-reading this thread, but come ON! :(
  14. Jeez, and i thought my '93 EBII Falcon was still beating strong after 331,048.. Although the one time it was driven on a permit i DID give it a good old punching on the gogo pedal and was pleasantly surprised that it actually picked up quick, almost violently so.. May be the fact the air charge temp sensor is f@$ked and its running rich, but its not the point! I WANT TO SEE THAT NAVARA WITHOUT RUST!!!
  15. 400nm?!?!?!??!! Holy Catfish Batman! That's diff-breakingly sweet :y: Only 68kw? How mild was the tune? Suppose you don't need oodles of power when you have bucketloads of torque, much more fun :fuzz: Great build up mate, good luck with it
  16. I'd rather die in style though!
  17. That just filled my jocks.. WOW! I'd rather own that car than buy a house!
  18. Ha, i suppose i HAVE seen a little more than the plebs Though, you're good enough to get shit moving quick smart, so keep going! :P
  19. There are cheaper coffins..
  20. Not directly aimed at the automotive industry that comment, moreso at the vast majority of other trades.
  21. Oh my, please, buy it! Can always take the motor out and use it in another project in the future if you decide that its time to let it go :blinks:
  22. Only other problem is: Most places want an apprentice with a license and transport. I'm still 17.. ugh.
  23. Yeah, i was thinking carpentry and plumbing would also be good to apply for. I figure, with a deferral for one year from uni, i can decide whether or not i like whatever trade i choose, and then make the decision to stay on as an apprentice OR go back to study. NOW, to look for an apprenticeship..
  24. I can't cope with the strain of 16 hours of commuting a week, it ruins me both physically and emotionally. Pretty weak eh? Pfft, women, i have a girlfriend who is more than enough eye candy for me. I'm filling out a deferment form now and will see what happens. Then off to look for apprenticeships from a few places.
  25. It'd be nice if the course i got into was better than the one I'm in. The ONLY reason I'm doing it is because its the only one i managed to JUST get into. I'd much rather have gotten into the physical education one i applied for, but now I'm stuck doing things that do not interest me/i cannot fathom. Gah, worst case scenario, i go do a personal training course at a private institute and become a personal trainer, that IS something i enjoy. I may also go mad soon and shoot myself.
