  1. Update: Exhaust in, included for no extra was a VT SS tip worth $90. Sounds SO much better :(
  2. Wow! That is an awesome car! :( Will be paying very close attention to this build :ninja:
  3. Oh mad as man :lolcry: I'll be doing that tomorrow with luck! Update: 2" CAT back exhaust booked in for Tuesday morning :hmm: (And I thought I wasn't going to do anything for a while..)
  4. Nanna KE26 Wagooon going down Cambridge Rd, Kilsyth. The old duck driving it was doing well, the car was flawless and sounded purty :lolcry:
  5. Quick question (simply because the guy at the wreckers doesn't know, nor do I).. I'm 99% sure (yet not sure enough) that seats from a AE93 Seca will bolt straight in to a AE92 CS Hatch. Is this true? Because the seats there are absolutely grouse and I just got some cash so I am thinking about switching them over (my seats LOOK nice, but the are pretty shagged). Thanks guys and my apologies for being such a novice, I am fearful of wasting money.
  6. Bloating constantly.. It's terribly inconvenient, uncomfortable and has screwed the muscles in my stomach up..
  7. Do not move that ride height a single mm.. That is perfect :) Cannot wait to see this little beast up and running, chasing down anything :)
  8. The annoyance when you walk to your car parked at the train station and alas, you find urine stains on it..
  9. Because I am a complete novice at anything electrical (I stay away if it has leads, plugs, looms etc) I was curious as to how one would go about converting a non-tacho instrument cluster to a tacho one. Now, at the local wreckers, I've seen a couple of tacho clusters hanging around and was wondering what the go was in terms of wiring them in, in place of the current one and if anybody on here had done so recently/prior to me asking. It's for an AE92, so does it make this any different to any other model? Cheers :jamie:
  10. How about the Government stop driving around in fleets of f@$king Caprice's and use something a little more efficient? If they want to lead the way in lower emissions, why not ride around in a tricked out Mini or something? :jamie:
  11. WGMG - Yeast intolerance to all forms of yeast.. No beer, bread, pizza, some forms of pastries (ingredients in some pies/pasties/sausage rolls is yeast) and yeaaaaahh.. It sucks.. Can't just whip up a sandwich..
  12. Guysguysguys! I want a instrument cluster with a tacho, once I get one, how do I go about installing so that it all works properly??
  13. Alright, so a few questions.. I have two old car batteries, a 13" rim from a Mazda 323, an old pushbike and probably a few other pieces of metal laying around.. What kind of money would I get at a scrap metal recyclers? I know they do it by the KG, but I cannot seem to find any definite prices..
  14. What type of roof racks are you after? The traditional style ones with the bar, or sports style ones like on my AE92? I have a feeling you could get away with the traditional ones, especially when you adjust to the right size, give them a good coat of paint and they will be sweet :jamie:
  15. This be why you may end up with a kid or two? :jamie:
  16. Gah, belts are squeaking again.. When I have some money i'll sort it out..
  17. As of the weekend, Dad and I will be tearing the garden bed on the left hand side of the driveway apart (Mum was all for it, I almost fell over when SHE suggested it). This way I can park alongside him instead of under the tree to the side of the driveway, without a large amount of possum poo/urine piling up every day over my car.. Hmm.. Maybe I can convince him to build a carport there too :jamie:
  18. Oh god.. If that goes ahead, i'll hear you from here!
  19. Long story Johno, lets just say it err... Didn't live up to its expectations.. Wish I could afford a zorst.. But being unemployed and back at uni next week, with $100 to my name, isn't really fun. Although I WILL be getting a 2" CAT back exhaust when funds permit  It's already had a full service done... I think I may just be too used to driving the Commodore.. Mmmmm.. Manual conversion would be amazing  BUT I had to get an auto license as I had ZERO access to a manual for the test.
  20. Well, belts needed a smidge of tension and it got rid of my squeaking issue (for now). Now.. What are some incredibly cheap little tricks I can use to make a little bit more power? Being a grannymatic, it makes anything remotely hilly send my foot to the floor and the gear level back to 2 to build revs..
  21. Don't worry Bamboo, they.. uhh.. fell off before through some 'alternative' terrain  Yeah, ill have a look-see tomorrow morning, won't be able to afford new ones till next week, but i have a feeling they'll have a bit of minor cracking and dryness.
  22. Few piccies, she's not clean yet though. Gotta get new drive belt I think, it's squeaking on startup... Might be AC belt, don't know..
  23. I love mine simply because it's mine :) The drive home in it after purchasing was so ridiculously fun, FWD, slower than a wet week and I was beaming ear to ear ;) Now that it's got a stereo in it, I don't care about the lack of speed/power, I just listen to my tunes and do my own thing :bash:
  24. Put me down as a maybe :) I'm keen as all hell!
  25. Haha typo.. Thanks mate :laff: Gotta admit, it's actually not a bad engine.
