  1. Car in it's original state Stereoooooooooo :) Tacho Cluster, much bettah :) Rims ;) New tail lights  At night, amazing  Note: Check out the exhaust tip, beefy ;)
  2. Yeah, took one look at the wreckers and the shape was so much more clean-cut, the choice was obvious, plus they are a fraction darker than the series 1 lens, appealed to me :) Yeah, i've dismantled the other tail light set and am going to use them as an experimental set. Will get around to pictures in the next day or so, i'll try to throw up some shots of the new instrument cluster and headunit, plus attempt to get a pic of it at night with the lights on so you can see just how big a difference this setup has aesthetically. :rolls:
  3. Spotted AE86 on Thursday morning cruising along Dorset Rd, If you're on here, I was the one drooling at you, staring into my rear view mirror instead of watching the road :laff: Also, spotted a flat front ke70 at Kilsyth Pick-a-part today, still had the 4k intact and the body looked straight.
  4. Update - Got some tail lights off a AE94 CSI Hatch, pulled the loom too as they are a three-bulb setup rather than the four bulb on my car. Look schmick  Also, pinched an indicator lens off another car and going to try brake fluid as an effective way to de-colour it. This way, if it's successful, I shall pull the new tail lights apart and give them the treatment on the indicator lenses :) Damnit.. Gotta stay inside for the next few hours to do uni work.. Hopefully will squeeze an hour or so in of work to bucket before work  EDIT: Put the tail lights and looms in, already looks so much better! :laff:
  5. Reminds me of dead dog tree in the high country of Victoria, looks awesome if you like seeing wild dogs hanging off a tree
  6. Should I just change springs or change shockers too? Big difference if only one gets done? Haha don't worry mate, thought about the stockings, but i'm going to go grab me a pair of tail lights from a holden nova, they came out tinted from factory ;)
  7. don't know what to do next to Bucket (other than a bloody wheel alignment). Lowering? (don't know price for 2" all round) Source an interior that ISN'T poo brown? Extractors? (probs not worth it on a 4afc) Clearing the indicators front and rear? (PM me if you know how to do it!) Replace seats with something more sporty? (AE93 seca sx?)
  8. Nothing wrong with slightly bigger women.. I like my girls with curves and bits to hold on to :laff:
  9. WGMG: Not knowing what to do next to Bucket (other than a bloody wheel alignment). Lowering? (don't know price for 2" all round) Source an interior that ISN'T poo brown? Extractors? 10. Evan, if I went with anything any more carbohydrate rich, i'd get too much excess weight rather than muscle mass. WGMG: Uni essays.. Do you really have to stop me from tinkering with my car? :(
  11. Missus must be good..
  12. I think I just need to find something a little more filling.. Yeah, I work in a pizza shop. Yeah, we actually make good quality, reasonably healthy pizza. No, a family sized pizza does NOT fill me.. I swear I has worms, I can't possibly keep eating this much and stay so light. Admittedly, my body has been craving food since I got back into the gym full on again, but its getting ridiculous. Maybe eat a bag of cement? ;)
  13. WGMG: Knowing that no matter how hard I try, there will never be enough food in the cupboards to meet my currently insatiable appetite.. It's as if my body has never seen food this past week.. I can NOT stop eating.. Take today for example. Breakfast - Protein Shake, array of vitamins and medication, two bowls of corn flakes. Hour later - 4 rashers bacon, 3 eggs, apple. Lunch - Two subway wraps (can't eat bread) Hour later - Apple #2, handful of pitted dates, coffee (black, two sugars) Gym session Post workout - Apple #3, Pear, Kiwifruit and Protein shake #2 Prior to work (5pm) - Banana, pickled onions on crackers with cheese. At work - Went next door to Fish and Chip shop, Grilled Flake. After work (9pm) - Dinner (lemon chicken stir fry, sticky date pudding) As I'm typing this - Apple #4... I'm only 5'6 and 68kg... Food is an expensive habit..
  14. Shall go down there in a fortnight when I'm in the position to spend some more money and grab a set and go about cleaning them up, to make them look spiffy ;) Hmm.. Thinking I gotta do something about the 195's on the front rubbing at full lock on the plastic inner guard on the wheel arch.. Making a hell of a noise during any low speed cornering manouver.
  15. Thanks mate :) Getting hooked up with some lowered suspension mid-year, only going 1.5" down and going to organize swaybars and strut braces for front and rear to tighten it up. Even now, handling has improved and simply the look of the car is so much meaner! Guess decent rubber really helps over the el-cheapo rubber that was wrapped around the stockies now sitting under the carport out the back. No luck at Kilsyth Pick-a-Part today for the tinted Nova tail lights. Thinking of just clearing the indicator lenses front and rear for now. So.. Uh.. How do I do that? ;)
  16. Got rims? :) 15's with Goodyear F1's on the front and Hancooks on the rear, only stung $500 fitted, pretty happy :P
  17. Cheers mate, going to do a wreckers run today to have a look-see for some of them tail lights :) (Already pulled that trim off and cleaned it crazy, amazing what lives under there..) Now.. Where should I go for rims? I don't want to spend a fortune but I do want to go 16 or 17 with some somewhat thin rubber wrapped around. Want to get the rims sorted soon as possible before I spend money on something else.. Down the track i'll be looking at getting it dropped about 1.5", so I want to get wheels that will look the part, no point getting them if they aren't going to be pure porn.
  18. Rims? Tinted tail lights? Suggestions? (remember, keeping spending within reason, I'm not earning a whole lot right now, but this car thing is freakin' infectious!) Cheers, Sam :)
  19. On another note, picked up a brand spankin' new Pioneer headunit, new Alipine front speakers, installed some speakers in the rear and fitted the sub. Not a lot of AE92's running around like mine, I love when people stare funny when my exhaust and stereo are competing for noise pollution :)
  20. Bout time I got back on here :) Exhaust was $198 fitted, sounds mean and I never get sick of the stares I get with it :) As of yesterday, now has a tacho dash pinched from a AE93 SECA, so much nicer to know that my idle speed is only around 650rpm, mind you, an extra gear would be nice.. Not sure what to do engine wise.. Can't do a conversion (being on P's bites) so contemplating extractors.. Thoughts? Worth the cost? Maybe get bigger cams and rejet the carby? Needs more poke.. But I don't want to compromise economy (right foot has been kind lately). Any ideas on the difficulty in dropping the 4spd auto into it? Probably new ecu, minor interior mods (4spd shifter). She's still running like a Zertec, but that modding bug really has bitten me hard, so i've been blowing money on other luxuries to stop myself doing an engine conversion (new laptop, new iPod etc). Pics of new dash up tomorrow with luck :) Haha Alix, race on! But yours is newer, yet mine has 15,000km less and sounds a little meaner ;)
  21. Very tempted, especially being so close to my place
  22. Aww.. I enjoy your tight spot Ry ;) Glad to see you got that thing fixed.. Far out, surely you WILL run out of ideas with this car, wont you? Or is that a stupid question? :P
  23. I'd say the wreckers may have some sitting on a car, and seeing as though you're from melbourne, i know for a fact there are a couple of perfect condition black strips sitting at Pick-A-Part Kilsyth.
  24. 3 x 90kgs is as heavy as I want to push my chest.. Then on mechanical bench, 4 x 136kg is a nice burn. (I'm not a fan of bench press, simply as I am nervous on it due to having my sternum cut apart a few times now, It just doesn't feel 'right')
  25. Everything is connected.. Its inside the barrel that is frigged.
