  1. Looking good Mason. Glad to hear she is running and running well!
  2. More than likely be refering to the Lower Control arms. ALL that is needed, is the XT130 struts and either XT130 or RA40 (celica) Steering arms. You may run into troubles with the XT130 spring being too large in diameter for the strut tower. You MAY be able to run a KE30 top spring hat and spring. But you need to make a safe decision weather the spring will seat correctly in the XT130 lower spring seat. If thats not a safe option you can either: Remove the XT130 lower spring seat and weld on the KE30 one. Or take your KE30 springs to a spring makers and have them open the last coil or 2 out to XT130 spec.
  3. Shit dude, saw the pic of your car with the roof cut off and thought WTF. Read this thread and all is explained
  4. Can get away without cutting holes in the floor pan. Set Welder to highest setting, Blow holes in the floor!
  5. Requires RA40 or XT130 steering arms to bolt in. Both use the same ball joint and tie rod ends as a KE30 so they will bolt in and the strut will bolt into that.
  6. Looking great Mason. Where did you get the Stanley transfer?
  7. The bend in the 5K dipstick tube is how it normally is, Try checking the oil in a cab over van with a std K engine dipstick tube.
  8. Replaced the rear uni. No more crossed up roller bearings, driveline vibration, epic clunk. YAY.....sorta.
  9. W5x of some sort.
  10. PICS!!!!

    Spotted

Spotted Mr Philbey this arvo in the 16!
  12. Watch out with the 3K piston. Have a look at the skirt. Have been told the 4K pistons have a section of skirt clearance for the counterweight on the crank due to the longer stroke. Never really bothered to check myself. But maybe something to watch out for.
  13. Dizzy in. Misses a bit at points in the rev range. Have on order: Dizzy Cap Rotor Button Leads Plugs Plug Tube O-rings Gap the plugs and well be set :D
  14. Leccy dizzy going in tomorrow. Hoping to save up some $$$ and get it dyno tuned at West Torrens. Play with carb jetting and ignition curve. Bit hard to do it off a dyno when noone has a clue what the specs of the cam are :glare:
  15. Try a group 4 colour.... $460+ for 4L. With over 1L of Zirconium Pearl thru it. Quit yo complainin' :lolcry:
  16. What welder are you using? (brand/amps etc)
  17. I know you do Sam. I've got it sitting in the shed if you want some MOAR! Annnnd, probably the latter. Got some rust coming thru already. Not breaking thru, just bubbles. In areas that there wasnt before. FML. Rebuild #2 already?
  18. That's it man. Make do with what's at hand. Gerard, if your using 0.9 and above, might be an idea to get a small roll of 0.6. Even 0.8 can be trick at times with body work.
  19. Interesing. Running a std wagon/pano/late 55 22mm swaybar. Might double it up and see how it goes.
  20. So you hooked it up to the radius rods rather than bolting it to the swaybar? Interesting.
  21. Gasless is less than ideal for bodywork. What size wire are you using? 0.6 or 0.8 will do.
  22. You could pick up a small trans cooler off egay or wreckers for peanuts. Place it in front of the radiator (with thermofan zippy clamps) would work a million times better than the factory setup.
