  1. Yes its the TE72 aka T18 Nice ride, post up your prgress in the rides and projects section
  2. twin 32 DIR it is then. google time my friend. Being a 32 it should be quite happy with the 1290cc 4K, right in its cube range. Be mindfull it may not be plug n play performance as it may need some TLC first.
  3. Its may be a twin 34 (measure the throttle bodies) IF tuned right it should be sweet for a 4K :y:
  4. Basic physics: Transfering energy results in the reduction of any one givin form of energy. As the energy transfers through the middle uni, it if fact transfers multiple times through each pivotal points, through the bearing, through the oil and so on. While doing this the kenetic/torque energy has to change directions constantly, thus losing momentum and also transforming some of the kenetic/torque energy into other forms of energy such as heat, sound and light. Single shaft = a more direct route for the energy to transfer through, and gives a greater opertunity for the energy to reatain its momentum. The mutiple shafts do reduce virbration as shorter shaft give less oppotunity for imbalance and also reduce potential imbalance multplier which increase exponentially with the legth of the shaft. Single shaft = more derict raw energy tansfer.... more power :y: Multiple shaft = more refined energy transfer between the axle and engine.... more comfort.
  5. *** PROJECT CANCELLED!!! *** Found this jem .... New Project Already got 2 Datsuns to finish so the KE70 is getting parted out, help other Rollaclub members finish their projects :y: KE70 parts link yeah it bolts onto a webber manifold.... its a kit from... http://www.efihardware.com Cosr over a grand just for those bits. There are probably much better options available.
  6. Already got that! The work shop is full of nice cars... Cobras, XR8 Coupes, Mustangs, GT's, V-Spec GTR's, Minitrucks... though the Hummers dertract from the view. Then at home there's a shed full of Corollas and rare Datsuns :y:
  7. Amen to that... Its not the P plate that make these people dicks, its just that our first experience with them is when they get their P's. They usually stay dicks after they get their full licence. Most P platers have a good head on their sholders like Khendo here. :y:
  8. Its a good thing most of use aren't scared of heights... up there on our high hourses. :y: As much as we like to believe we are infailable drivers, the fact is we are guilty of poor driving every now and then. Sure P platers can be stupid BUT they are just learners that are alowed to drive without a fully licenced pasenger. They make mistakes, They make STUPID mistakes... thats a part of learning. The worst thing is, the majority of idiots on the road hold a full licence... these are the people that should know better. Thats the end of my cerveza induced rant :o
  9. A lot of people are singing the praise of preasure packs... all good but they never fully cure as hard as 2 pack. If you want to go cheap but want a good, hard finish, you can get a tin of single pack enamal paint AND get some 2K hardener, mix them like you would standard 2 pack and the enamal will come up pretty good. The hardener will prevent it from chalkin and fading.... actuallly this will harden more so than 2 pack acrylic enamal. Its not a pro finish but its a great way to practice on the cheap and it sure looks better than preasure pack. :y: :o
  10. Firstly the rims look real nice.... quite different. Drop the car to suit and they'll really shine :y: Do your spacers slot into the centre hole of the rim or are the studs the only thing supprting your cars weight on the rim?
  11. Cheers guys Looks like i may have to do a serious build up on this engine... see if the bosses will part with a box too.... and their race head... AND maybe even a snail shell :y: :bash: ... think i'm due for a bonus too :o
  12. She doesn't appear that bad... whats the total damage? Sadly even if the cops do find these pricks, the owner is never reinburst and the guilty party get a small slap on the wrist... maybe a fine... that the cops keep.
  13. Its good you got your baby back. What does she need to return to the road?
  14. So how do these engines rate? What is the generl perception of these engines? Cheers. :)
  15. Got my new windscreen today, brand skankers, ready for urethane! Isn't it SEXY!!!!! ;) I used it to makes sure my windiw line is correct. Once the roof is done i will be stripping the paint around the windscreen then hitting it with some POR15, that way the car can bere-sprayed without needing ever remove the windscreen. :lolcry: Damn i;m looking forwards to driving this car around :)
  16. Do it your self! Sure it may or may not turn out 100% BUT you can rub runs and nibs out AND most importantly, you'll get experience for your next spray job ;) Do a little research and do a few practice runs first. Don't be shy :)
  17. Another T18 lost :) make sure the parts go to good use so that yout grean T18 can live on in other T18's.
  18. v/e rate??? Already got a 1.8 torbo, with the front wheel drive sump ... FOR FREE! :)
  19. while reading another post about putting an FJ20 into a KE10 (not a good idea) I noticed a few comments on the Mazda BPT engine. ....Not an easy engine to find un biased info on. Any ways can someone give me the word on these engines. My bosses have an MX5 race car with a few spare engines, anyways, to make space they gave me 1 (in pieces) clean fresh and ready to ride ... I'm not sure what to do with it. I also have access to a box, loom ...etc... Cheers
  20. the gentleman I scored the T18 from rolled off with a 4age for scrap before i could get my greasy little hands to it :y:
