Got my car back from the dudes at auto electrical. Ignition switch turned to be fine, turns out the problem was a disconnected cable of some sort. The car was also sparking with a weak voltage. So that's all fixed now and now fires up first time every time. Had to use my mates car to tow mine using some dodgy connection... :o was not fun! The dellorto's are working but are in need a tune! (link for vid below) booked in for the 29th. In the mean time its off the road as i don't really want to drive it around as it runs like crap. ive borrowed my mates XF LPG ute. Bit of a beast... :y: super smooth tho. Now on uni holidays have some things to i want to do to the car.. Youtube of Carbies: 4k Dellorto DHLA Mitch.

Recently fitted 'attached' some Dellorto twin cabs to my 4k. It has larger aftermarket extractors. This is the case where bigger isn't always better! The bolts attaching the Carbs manifold to the head are extremely tight and difficult to get to....I have tried spanners (14mm) of all sorts and different ratchet extenders. The bolts are securely fitted but I'd say not as tight as they should be. Any suggestions of tools and methods to make the situation even the slightest bit easier? Cheers Mitch

Twin Dellorto DHLA40's courtesy of Andrew (Ke_ping_it_real). many thanks. and some replacement struts. Carbies were a %#^%$^$@%T%# to get on. Needed a fair bit of filing in order for the manifold to fit along side the extractors. The four bolts attaching the manifold where the hardest 4 bolts of my life, given the next to nothing space once u get squeeze your hand and ratchet in there. While doing this we dropped a spanner on the alternator and we made sparks :D :wink: and by doing this my ignition switch has packed up :wink: . My car will be towed courtesy of the RAA to 8km within my residence to an auto-electrician:no2: Anyways, when the car is fixed and wants to start ill post some pics/videos of the carbs running (yet to be tuned). :hmm: i miss driving her already... PS. anyone know how to access the bolts easier on the Dellorto manifold other than spanners and ratchets? the area is just ridiculously tight to work in....there must be an easier way.....
