  1. My interests? * Cars: Corollas!! (Thats why we are all here right?) * Computers: My job and hobby on the side, have a few regular clients I help with their computers on the side as well. * Fishing: Yes, one day I will arrange a rollaclub fishing trip, might even see if we can help those people who have never caught a fish before with their fishing skills. :fuzz: * Electronics: Soldering and wiring stuff together is always fun, looking foward to playing with auto electrics (EFI) soon! * BBQ;s: Who cares who with, be it rollaclub or family, as long as a sizeable portion of beef rib fillet is sacrificed on a hotplate i'm happy! * Beaching: Love going to the beach in summer, especially to give the optic nerves a good workout. * Game Consoles: XBOX - love it, can't get enough! N.E.S. - Got that retro feel, been collecting more games for it off ebay.. Probably more, but that should do for now.. :)
  2. *Decided to split this thread guys* Thats a cruel thing to do to a cat, toads on the other hand are a pest in Australia, thats why I don't hesitate to kill them. Native species have to compete with them for food and animals that eat frogs mistake them for just that. They can also transmit diseases to native frogs and fish.. Heres a batch from my last cull..
  3. I'm sure Nick can vouch for that too, he broke our last club whacking a toad..

  5. Someone is stupid enough to bid on it too...
  6. I have a mate at work interested in coming too, how many places are available?
  7. I find its better to put them at the front to get them out of the way, nothing worse than having a stand in the way when you want to get a gearbox out from under the car. Also too, it distributes the weight, don't like the idea of it having so much play from side to side when you want to wriggle the box out and back in..
  8. I'd probably suggest some thinners, just don't have a smoke while your doing it..
  9. Need to have a look around some dealerships and see what interests you i suppose / whats in your price range..
  10. Stands are under the chassi rail, they are industrial strength stands that my dad and uncle fabricated when they had their own workshop.. And yes, I can't say a big enough thanks to Nick for the gearbox, For it you will be reimbursed in time
  11. Well my mates back in highschool always said I'd probably blow my engine or diff first, just shows you how well a Toyota is really engineered. Those of you that have heard my car recently (Usualy heard it coming before they saw it, not because of a grumpy sounding engine, rather a nasty sounding gearbox) would know it was due to go sooner or later. Actually it didn't really die but I should rather say I put it out of its misery. Due to some other factors (slipping clutch) & (Jumping out of 4th Gear) Someone was trying to tell me it was time to change it. Ripped the gearbox out saturday morning, Just as I had expected, a reason for the slipping clutch, Seems my rear main seal is still leaking slowly over my clutch :D First thing that I was interested to know was how bad the inside of the box actually was. I ended up ripping the Inspection/Sump plate off the gearbox and wasn't exactly suprised to see it resembled a glitter factory.. (So thats what happens when you crunch gears??? :) ) Sitting there I spun the gears around to see if any teeth were missing, next thing out flung a rather nasty sized piece of a tooth, yay!! Next I wanted to know where it actually once lived, that didn't prove to hard either.. Then I had to degrease the spare gearbox and put it back in with the new clutch ( Thanks Matt's old parts KE70  ) My poor baby lives once more!!
