  1. so did some work to the car, car had leaking cam seals and cam cover seals, replaced those. Dizzy was leaking, bought the $22 rebuild kit from kbox.ca and got a mate to rebuild it, he said it was a pain in the ass because I have the small port, way harder to get gear off and the bearing out. check out the new fuel pump its a re-labled bosche pump. its an Audi 90 external fuel pump with vw logos on it got it from euro wreckers. it says made in france so it's only about 2-3 years old, its a new one. car runs soooo good with descent pump, i was using a cheap chinese pump previously, and it was causing the lift pump before it to work hard out, now my whole fuel system is quiet as. strongly recommend using descent fuel pumps no matter how broke.
  2. sound guy at church sounds alright, which church?, digital sound desk at work sounds alright, that church must rake in the donations . I do audio engineering when I could be f@$ked, I can build fake mac's aswell  so i have all my audio software on my mac made out of regular pc parts.
  3. looking awesome, looks too clean and sexy under the bonnet, a bit of drift dirt from tyre rubber and dirt from running off the track would suite it good.
  4. OK guys, So I know it has been asked before, i have done many hours of searching and I have found some information regarding power steering into a ke70 (with 4age I might add). I've got questions below ok so Use : Around town, bit of fun Why : Why not, let me know what you guys think for around town, and a bit of fun Parts needed for easiest installation 1. JDM AE86 Cross Member with Power Steering Rack with Control arms 2. Power Steering Arm knuckles. 3. Power Steering Pump 4. Resivior 5. Custom Lines 6. Possibly AE71 steering column??? are they interchangeable???? Possible Problems 1. To use the control arms I've herd u basically need ae86 gear up front, I'm sure you could just use different control arms???. 2. Steering column may need to be changed/modified The difference with the column is the short shaft in the end with the spline on it, The Power steering version is about 40mm or so shorter to accommodate the valve block on-top of the rack. the AE71 and AE86 parts do interchange The D bush on the bodies are identical but the round one is different as the Outer Diameter of the Power Steering version is alot bigger, about 50mm compared to the non Power Steering one being around 35mm. I have read that ae71 columns are same to ae86, does that mean ke70's are the same???? 2. A little confused with this piece of information because I don't know which car this applies to: JDM T50 and ADM T50 have different bell housing and have the slave cylinder on different sides. Clearances between the clutch slave behind too close to the power steering rack and pinion connecting to the steering column entry. I know this is an issue when you use an a ke70/ae71 manual crossmember and modify it to suite power steering. The second issue is even if you get it to clear when the engine does minor tilts in the high rpm range its gonna move to the right a bit hitting stuff. 3. This isn't a problem but I need more info on basic install of a pump on the 4a, I assume this is easy as just use a regular available fwd pump of an ae82/92 or something. Where does it bolt up, how close to things does it sit? 4agze make things tight fit? Installation Process as I assume and have read elsewhere. 1. Remove Old Cross Member, Bolt up the Power Steering Cross Member 2. Heat lower section of column to soften the rubber and pull out the splined section, while still warm push in the shorter Power Steering version. 3. Hook up custom Power Steering lines from -6 teflon braid and fittings (for the high pressure line) - simplest solution 4. Mount resiviour and cooler 5. Bleed system and adjust toe angles to suit. information plagiarised from other peoples posts - real roadrunner on toyomods. - thanks for the info
  5. awesome car mate, one suggestion, in your show picks i noticed your black bumpers were still looking a bit old, i bought this stuff the other day for black plastics, rubbers and seals it re blackens them and puts new life back into them,, tried it on my mates pintara, his black bumpers looked white and then we put this stuff on and after woods they were nice and clean dark black, looked fantastic.
  6. hay guys, check out my new part for my 4agze I got a crank angle sensor :) so I can run a coil pack, so I have an ems computer so I was looking at these This coil is suitable for use with distributed ignitions and coil per cylinder ignitions. It is an inductive coil that is not recommended for CDI use. so if anyone can confirm because I'm still new to this stuff, these should work fine I have no idea about cdi or anything. They also have one that is a double ended coil setup to run wasted spark, once again something I'm not too farmiliar with.
  7. thanks for the info guys, ya wasn't meaning to say I wasn't greatfull for the help luke just should of sat and thought about a bit more. would the best option be just to pull the tank out and modify it with some sort of intank lift pump (Maybe even baffle the tank if I feel like getting someone too pull it apart) and then run it into a surge tank in a side panel in the back panels in the cabin, and then back down to the main pump under the car. It would mean the fuels still going through the cabin but at least its a little neater and less noisy. or I could go with the idea of perspex, which I don't really know much about. It's so funny because I was actually doing my system exactly the same as you e70van I just had a external vl pump and I was driving round with fuel as low as possible because the car would start easier (i don't know why, don't even ask, its fixed now) so I was getting epic surge driving for like two weeks, my engine must of loved it.
  8. hay mate, what's your fuel setup, mine still shits me off. I didn't plan it out well enough and its noisy as, I have the surge tank and the lift pump in the car so I get noise from the lift pump and fuel smell when I get in my car after its been sitting. had planned to mount the pump and tank underneath but couldn't find anywhere, I think I'm gonna try harder to at lease mount the lift pump under with the main pump.
  9. hay mate, sucks to hear that the now coil and igniter didn't work, been reading the posts and got no idea whats wrong, you'll figure it out eventually.
  10. T-series pppfffttt, stock s series all the way haha she loves it on the dyno aswell. great info will be usefull upon breakage.
  11. got some parts in the mail today for the ADM 4agze, leaves me with just the pistons left, so far the bill is $380 + $350 + $165 + $50 4agze fuel rail 4agze injectors, little bit dirty but the o-rings still look great, really happy with them. also my sister bought a jeep wrangler 97 model, 4.0litre 4 cylinder heres my thoughts after the first drive pros: awesome for 4x4 cons: mostly related to around town heaps of body roll horrible steering slow, comparable to my 4k when I first got it - I had foot to the floor in the wrangler on a straight road in 4th and I seriously think I couldn't get it over 80 you have to be crawling in third before it lets you into second clutch has to be slammed to the floor before the car lets you turn it on wondering how long its gonna be before she gets over it.
  12. Yellow Baller Wagon, Love the ghetto name :P
  13. save yourself some money and find a member on here to help you out, companies will take you for all your $$$, best way I recon would be to get the motor, gearbox and tailshaft in yourself and get someone else to wire up the rest.. exacly what I did, me and my mate got it to that point and got someone else to wire it up and tune it. having said that I'm sure a member here would help you with the whole thing if needed and for $$$. and definatly get all your parts sorted before you even consider talking to someone, there is shitloads of information on here regarding what parts you need.
  14. pfft hangover, any excuse will do :blinks: haha. you could probably have my charger if u want it, thinking of going turbo instead, found a turbo exhaust manifold I bought ages ago and forgot about. in trade for the charger you can give us a hand figuring out what turbo parts I need, I don't know much about turbo setups.
  15. thanks mate yah its awesome fun to cruise round in, one of my mates was very surprised thought it would get more body roll then it does. I've been silently watching your thread, you and your dad seem to have some skill good luck with it.
  16. Update! Since my current smallport is getting a little worn and leaky I have a new side project :blinks: what do u get when you have these: Low k ADM small port 4age from wrecker W55 gearbox - bellhousing adapter to be bought soon. A GZE supercharger and a box full of brackets, crank pulley, alternator and other accessories from a gze which leaves just 4agze forged lower compression pistons and injectors, I shall call it ADM 4agze haha. apparently the crank is the same and I'm hoping the conrods and gudgen pin are the same so all I need is the forged pistons.
  17. Yah mate, went fairly smoothly. I looked absolutly everywhere and could not track down the leak, rear main was fine absolutly no leaks from input shaft. Must be dripping down from cam covers or sumthing. I also need to change the seals in my dizzy, I got a kit from kbox.ca and now I have to make sure I don't stuff up the timing when I take off the dizzy to change the seal. Oh and might be going supercharged soon haha, am going to use the spare smallport and chuck a supercharger on it with all the brackets and pulleys and intercooler and what not.
  18. ahh, fair enough the old nz styling I see ;)
  19. Hay guys, I'm fairly new here I'm keen on coming and making it 3x KE70 Panel Van hopefully, only problem it's my daily. its got the conversion and it's done 300km + on clock and I already have leaks from places and It's a little touchy, Keen on spectating but would seem like I'm soft lol.
  20. looks good and will go great, only thing I noticed was a little different was the end caps on the rear bumper, they look like they were meant for a front bumper someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  21. Hay mate hows it coming along, no updates since last Wednesday, thought this was planned as a a mega fast build haha :rolls:
  22. Corolla Pano always better than holdens, your pano looks tuff good work mate.
