I don't really see what there is to hate KE55's. Once you piss off those fugly rubber ended bumpers and replace them with KE30 ones, they look f@$king sweet, in my opinion... IMO! Anyway, back on task....

Whoa, I think I got a KE55E... Had the chrome wrap around bumpers, originally had airconditioning, has a rear sway bar and is a 1981 model; its got a square headlight front grill, too. Is the difference between KE55 and KE55e? No power windows though :faq:

Its called a window louvre, and damn, they are sick. Any car looks shit hot with them, it was 'the thing' to do to cars back in the 60s and 70s; BOSS mustangs and Shelby's come to mind as high performance cars with louvres on them. My Coupe had one, and if I had a car to put it on, it would be defineatly on it. Hey, I don't mind the way the car looks as it is (bodywork). I reckon its 'period perfect', and looks f@$king overrated. I like the brown... but it needs to be dumped on its arse, and Superlites sound like the go... Off topic: Hell, if thats at Jindabyne, I've gotta say that is the sickest place. Sadly though, its where I got the news of a good family friend dying whilst on holiday, so it brings back a certain bad memory.. Good fun on the water though! Prolly some drug addict hopped up on his 'medicine'. It saddens me to find that not only someone would do this, the hit and run, and leave the driver of the car and the car when it was quite apparent that he'd left the car in a bad state. Letalone the fact he'd want to drive a Civic anyway. Simple way to check who owned the car before the fake plates were put on would be to search the engine or chassis number of the Civic for the licence plates. Surely if this is not a public resource in Tasmania the police would have access to it... surely.. Good luck, and lets hope Karma catches up with the bastard. Dan
