  1. yeh ellenbrook and alot of the country tracks, will come down to bunno to race when theres a meet that don't conflict with kwinana or ellenbrook... really i want to be racing as much as i can, don't really car how long i have to drive to get there :D
  2. yeah for sure i'd be up for that. where you planning on pulling the thing out, when do ya reckon you will be?
  3. Mate, that'd be awesome... timings pretty much perfect, means i can get the motor out easier to get the cage out and all... How much were you after for it? Cheers, Dan.
  4. that was me making a mistake, its not till this weekend... grand opening or something. might go.
  5. Yeah, there seems to be a few VG's over here, my old mans doing a gas conversion on one as we speak. No, its not a VP, cos it doesn't have a letterbox grill.... But the only reason that I got all the Ford models that I didn't forget :jamie: is cos I love Fords... sickest car out I reckon. Statesmans are as followed; I am hazy on this H-series (which already have been mentioned) WB, VP, VR, VQ, WH, WK, WL Please correct me on this... You know what I find funny? The fact the only A-series falcon was the AU, and they changed to B# because they had failed miserably on it...
  6. You know, you've just hit spot on what I'm going to do with my car. Damn you... But trade the orange for flat black, and the black for white. For the side stripe, how much could you do that for (pm) Nick??
  7. Nothing gets past you, does it Jamie... There was a XK and a ZH and a ZJ, and i mistook the NH for the NF, which was the EF's Falcoons brother. But i put the AU on when I edited the XL in. I got pwned...
  8. Evo I looks horn. I hate X. Don't like it, looks like a Magna to me. I don't like the wedge shape ones (like the ones that ricers do up, clear taillights and shit). I do like the ones that looks like Evo IIX. However, I do agree that they always seem to consistently look better than STi's. Even though I hate Magnas, I really like the AWD Sprintex Magna (don't know whether you easterners would know, but Sprintex is a pretty major supercharging/hi-po parts workshop). Jay Uptons a real nice bloke as well, met him a number of times. WTF was with that? I clicked reply twice and thats what I got (doubled words)...
  9. Yes, my bad. I did forget the XC and XL. Hope I didn't forget any others. Just did it to be a smart arse - :jamie: but still,.
  10. Yeah, even I've got a camera phone... hurry up and buy one. Drive-bys a the shizl my nizls
  11. Falcons XK, XL, XM, XP, XT, XR, XW , XY , XA , XB, XC, XD , XE, XF , EA , EB (XG), ED, EF (XH), EL, AU, BA, BF (unreleased) Fairlanes ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD, ZH, ZJ, ZG, ZK, ZL, NA, NC, NF, NL (obviously AU, BA and BF as well.)
  12. Concept STi looks shithouse. Hate the grill and lights. Don't mind the rex thats out now but, the one after the one SJ said was hideous?
  13. What he said. Really looks awesome, let us know if you need anything behind the dash 'cos all my stuffs still in good nick behind the dash. Might come up and drop you off a sticker or two and grab that fuel tank key off ya :( its only a matter of time till I run out of petrol. Currently, I don't know whether your old beast is going to hit the speedway. It will get driven hard however. From what I see, it'll either get used in a reshell if I roll my coupe, or as a caged khanacross car. Anyway, back to the thread. Good luck with the beast.
  14. I'll be racing at the latest by the 26/27th December meet at Kwinana, its a big meet but I hope to see yas all there but.. look out for #88 Black KE55 Coupe with a red 'cage. Cyas there.

When? Tomorrow night... may come down, if I can scab me some $ to get it :( . You'd probably find that the rolla would do a better quarter mile with more weight, albiet in the back.... Be a good burnout car but.
  16. I think they look great... just personal opinion though. Not that I really like most Japanese cars, yet I can still appreciate them for what they are..
  17. Hell yeah! Save the hoodies! They can't ban them. Do they expect the world just to revolve around what they feel? People to throw out millions of dollars worth of hoodies, clothing companies losing millions of dollars themselves? Do they understand the ripple effect on the rest of the world? I think not. Thats what really pisses me off about poms. Don't say I'm being racist, hell, I know that a bloody good portion of my family would have originally been poms. But they just think that the world can revolve around them. They wonder where the quote 'whinging poms' comes from. This is just another example of them trying to whinge again. Just put up with it. Its like the theory that P-Platers are all psychos, or when you carry a skatie you've gotta be doing something illegal. This sort of shit I just can't believe. Tell em to stick it up there arse...
  18. Here you go... (people will hate me for this)
  19. Yeah, like how Ford owns Mazda. You don't see either of them companies selling no performance cars... they both make kick arse cars in my opinion. I don't know what Subarus are like to drive, but I reckon they look pretty awesome, especially the one that is out at the moment (The WRX STi). Anyway
  20. Awww, not $4!!! My coupe sounds like a lawnmower on steroids... :shrugs:
  21. Hey, I was just wondering what people are listening to at the moment... I'm listening to Mudvayne, ACDC and Metallica, how about yourself?

Ok, well if you're going to convert it to a ute, you'll need to give it some serious bracing. Losing the roof will take away from a lot of the structural strength, you'll find the car will get alot more flimsy. I learned that with the KE20 that I just cut up. It will look awesome though if you go through with it. If you are planning on dragging it, you'll most probably find that Motorplex will not allow you to race it open top without a cage, nor will they encourage you to race it with bodgy bracing. But if you want to go ahead with it, I say that you would have to do the following; - cut it behind the front doors with enough room to create sufficient recline for the buckets - cross brace the shit out of the back half from side to side, probably three to six braces would do (someone that knows their shit would probably be able to tell you this better) - then cover it all up, sealing the interior and back section, so the scrutineers at the Motorplex won't give you any shit for the work you've done But other than that, its a bitchin' idea, and it can be done. You could probably remove a whole lot of weight from the car like that. I think that you would have to make the interior look reasonably stock though. If you're wanting to run a quicker time, I think that your going to want a bit of a longer ratio diff for the speed. I think the wagon you've got runs a 4:5 ratio, you'd probably want a 4:1 (again, someone who knows their shit will be able to tell you this). Even better, try running twice and see which one is best. I've got a 4:1 diff, and I'd like your 4:5!!! :( You'll also stuggle for grip with the stock granny spec tyres you'll have. Dunno what to do there, perhaps some fourby tyres will give you some grip, but I doubt that they'd be that good for grip. But, seriously, you've got a wicked idea there. Perhaps after a while you could ditch the 4k and drop in a 253 or 308, or maybe even a 250 Xflow. But just remember, Motorplex will try to rip you off as much as possible. You've gotta pay entry ($16) for the pits, the $40 to race, $10 for something real shit to eat, and I think you've gotta pay for your bays in the pits... Anyway, keep me updated... what year wagon was it?
  23. Theres a fair few little ribs under the rear bumper, seems to be a bit of work, but would look pretty awesome. Then you just need to recess the number plate, now that'd be beast!
  24. mmmmmm.... what they said...
