I remember taking the fuel tank out of my uncles HQ, its a pain in the ass dude, its not that its really all that difficult to do, but its just such a dirty job, was for me anyway! I ended up with like 20 years of dirt and build up fom the back of the tank all over me, twas a fooker. :wink: Did yours come out easy enough?

Now theres an idea! Ive still got three to go dude so some futuristic contraption like that could be the answer my poor shoulder needs at the moment! :wink: Its just another one of those times where i find my self saying Why didnt i think of that? lol :wink: Cheers m8. :hmm:

Okay, so inspired by Mungi Mods, i finally got around to buying some sand paper and some Autosol so i could begin polishing my wheels. I went 600, 1200 and then 2000 grit sandpaper and then hand polished it with Autosol and it came up like brand new... After that, i taped the wheel up and sprayed the centre of the kidney bean holes and the centre of the wheel in black. Its my first time doing anything this extensive to a wheel and it wont be the last cause it came up looking much better then i thought they would. Ive put up before and after shots of the wheel i polished, and when ive rolled the guards and the car wants to move again, ill put some more pics up of them on the car. :wink: It took 2 hours to do this one so theres definatlly some elbow grease required. :wink: Heres the pics. I feel like this post is taking the piss out of 2012, which is a really good thing! Its not gonna happen...the end of the world can't possibly be predicted by a man that has not yet seen the future even if he 'claims' to have done so. What makes me laugh though, is the fact that believers, or 'worry warts' are gonna have to find something new to be afraid of for the rest of their scared lives. Spewin, id love to take my car on that cruise, it would be not only the first cruise ive taken it on, but more importantly it would also be the first cruise ive been on in ROLLA CLUB! really looking forward to meeting you guys but I'm not gonna be able to drive the 25 without a motor in it..... :wink: Car will be fixed and ready to go before christmas but i can't say when exactly.....count me out. :wink:

I know what your saying Parrot, but a replica isnt what i had in mind (allthough it would be nice) I just want the tail lights cause they look so good on the car, you don't have to commit to building a replica trueno.

Hows $800 expensive when thats what theyre worth to everyone? What you have to understand is, these tail lights hold theyre value, and they will be worth more then that as soon as they hit Australian shores. To be honest, $800 is pretty cheap for Trueno lights. In 10 years from now, when theyre simply ungetable, who knows how much theyll be worth? Ive done up so many cars the wrong way over the years and ive learned that you don't get any satisfaction from going second best. Bring on the tail lights!!!

Agreed, i want them soooooo badly, i will not rest until they are on my car.

Id be willing to pay $800 for sure, probley wouldnt go much more then that though... They are the best lights for a 25 ever.

Hey guys, i noticed this picture in the rusty relics section which was put on by Tally, the lights really appealed to me,it was of a ke25 coupe and i seen these tail lights and i personaly think theyre the best tail lights ive ever seen on a ke25, they almost look like rotary tail lights out of a Mazda Capella. My question is this, can someone please tell me what they know about them? Id love to know what model they came out in and what country cause I'm pretty sure they wernt released on any Australian models, but i could be wrong... :)

Id love to dude, but for now I'm happy with what ive got, A major improvement from what i started with. ive spent nearly $2000 on the car this month alone! i thought the mrs's was expensive,Damn. :)

Hey dude, that cars gonna be sick when its done. I noticed that you don't have a fan blade running off your motor? (5k) so that must meen you run a thermo fan, correct? If so could you please let me know cause I'm just about to do the same to my car and if your not gonna need it any more (v8's need v8 radiators obviously) id be keen to buy it from you. Thanks m8. Glad you like them guys, I'm learning slowly that old school wheels look the goods on these cars, To answer your question Scotty, theyre 205's i know theyre fat as but they look really good on the car. I spoke to SLO-030 and were hopefully gonna roll the guards or mabye lift it an inch or so. Hopefully just roll the guards.
