Plenty happenin atm, recently bought a donor car for my auto to manual conversion, Totally stripped it of its drive line and front end, there was no interior in the car as it was set up as a burnout car. I'm planning to get this thing road ready before the end of the year, seems like a long time but ive still got a lot to do. So far the car is in primer and all the rust has been repaired, the next step will be to get some paint on it and get the manual up and running, shouldnt be too hard, just a matter of time really... Whats left of the Donor... Thought id freshen up the 4K a little...

Ill watch it now, not sure if youve seen the vid that i put up here I think its on the previous page, its about the ghost rider type guy in moscow, about half way through the vid he does some of the craziest shit ive ever seen on a motor bike. Worth a look.

I know man, its a shame that my kids will only ever see re-runs of his work. I remember me and my mum watching all these great docos of his and just being absolutly glued to the TV and loving every minute. Was the lyre bird vid %100 genuine? can they really replicate the sound of a camera and a chainsaw?

Thats awesome to know, i did the same thing as you Altezzaclub, bought a donor car for my conversion but the 4 speed box that it came with had blown 3rd gear some how. So then i got hold of a k50 box instead. Thanks mate.

Hey guys, i need some help on this one. I'm getting a 5 speed gearbox soon for my manual KE70 conversion and the only tailshaft i can get hold of came off a 4 speed box(the diff is a borgwarner). What id like to know is will that 4 speed tailshaft bolt up to my 5 speed box?? Any info is much appreciated...

Thats a good story man, glad to hear that he got his laptop back, but ive gotta say that stories like that are VERY rare. After i wrote my theory on the 'finger off' punishment, i went on google and did some research to see if anything like that had ever been enforced in any other countries, and guess what i found... The President of italy in 1922 was Benito Mussolini, he enforced a law which stated that if you were convicted of thievery, you would have your hand sawed off! Needless to say, stealing in that country came almost to a complete stop, i read further into it and the people of Italy were all for the idea and that theyed never felt safer.

Ive had a car stolen and burnt, bought a bike for 1200 and that got stolen, had a phone stolen, and had a similar situation to you on a train but it involved my wallet which had about 50 bucks and i never saw it again. This may come across as being a bit harsh for a punishment, but i think if your caught stealing, and i mean theres proof and theres no two ways about it, you should have one of your fingers cut off. Like literally cut off with a pair of pliers. Like i said i know its a bit harsh but if theres a chance that you could have that happen to you, wouldnt you think twice about stealing something? i sure know i would! When you have something stolen from you it leaves you with a strange feeling of loss, you just feel so helpless and upset that you don't know what to do with yourself, Thieves are the shit stain of society, and its time they all paid a price for the bullshit they put people through.

The standard stud pattern for the 70's are 4x114.3 Theres a dirty great big shitload of wheels out there that will bolt onto that sucker, look up rolla club member MUNGI MODS, go to his rides thread and youll see at least 5 sets minimum that youd love for your own 70.

That beast is looking tough man, love the new wheels. Must be so easy doing body repairs on it knowing that all you've gotta do when your finished is just go over it with a can of MATT BLACK! awsome.:y:

Agreed, the hardest part for me was getting some alloy mesh to stick behind the holes, and both the fuel tank and the boot seal were hard to get behind, The boot seal was even harder cause there was pretty much nothing left of the metal to stick to, oh well its done and its a temp fix but at least its good enough to paint over now.

So today i finally got around to getting some primer and some photos of the really bad rust spots which ive now fixed, its only ment to be temporary, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Its my first time trying to fix rust this bad, and too be honest repairing it has been pretty f$#ked. Ive got a lot more respect for people that have the skills and patience to restore cars properly now.

Thats one tidy looking Galant mate, absolutly love them, The guy i live with has been into them for years and he just sold (in my opinion) the best one he's ever owned, ill throw a pic up of it if i can find it.
