Almost read my mind. SR20DE will give you 100 odd kw at the wheels. 135kw for a standard SR20DET. IMO best bang for buck around that power output is the SR20DE. 4A-GE can't hold a candle to it IMO.

Silvertop looks like its been abused pretty badly and judging by the wiring the lt10s probably not in great shape anymore either. I wouldn't pay more than $1500... and even then you're just buying someone elses problem.

I used a KE70 K50 so my shifter position was the most extreme of the 3. I think even with a KE55 K50 you'd still have to cut something out of the floor. My hole wasn't big enough really. When the motor torqued in reverse it would touch the side of the body, other than that it was alright so I didn't enlarge it. Because the floor pan is starting to taper down at that point the gearbox sticks through the body a little more than it otherwise would.

SBS is still a season behind with UK Top Gear and they're about to start a new season in less than a month. I'm a die hard Top Gear fan but I haven't watched a single episode of AU Top Gear. You shouldn't have it hooked up directly to the manifold btw. The reason its blowing tonnes of smoke is because its receiving tonnes of vacuum. If you're going to plumb it back into the intake it needs to be before the turbo (i.e. between the air filter and turbo inlet).

Obviously we're going to have to draw the line somewhere otherwise we're going to end up a community of pompous arseholes. Personally I think "gotta" is just above the line, "aye" is below it. My main gripe is people frequently mixing up homophones. Things like "threw" instead of "through". Unfortunatly this is one of those things that a spell checker wont pickup. Oh and just a note, Firefox's default dictionary is US English so I don't wanna see Australians spelling words like "realise", "analyse" with a Z.
