  1. Well mate when you start pouring your own hard earned into a site you might understand why I'm VERY protective about possible commercial trading. I have no objection to the group buy and while I wish the initiator had run it past me as per the site guidelines/rules I have let it continue regardless. My objection was to the range of products beginning to be offered. I would like to believe that everyone is here to help however I have unfortunately had to deal with some underhanded trading utilising group buys in the past (hence why I would like people running group buys to run them by me as per the site guidelines).

  3. Errm, this is starting to get very commercial....
  4. Ahh...people spend money on anything these days. 7hp? Probably picked that up because he replaced that old leaky gasket.
  5. Working fine for me? What browser? Yea merchandise...ugh. I like the idea, but I haven't even got the time to send out stickers let alone organise jackets and shirts and hats and...yea you get the idea.
  6. Hows that?
  7. Blasting is also a good way to stretch the panel.
  8. Got a suggestion? Something you'd like to see on Rollaclub? This is the place to post it. If you see an idea you like, say so. The better the response to an idea the more likely it is to be done. Naturally I can't do everything, so where an idea is not possible I'll do my best to provide an explanation as to why. There is no such thing as a bad idea, within reason of course. This is your chance to get involved in the continued development of Rollaclub.
  9. From memory the angle at which the extractors depart the engine bay varies between the versions. I _think_ the KE70 has a shallower sweep back angle compared to the other corolla models so they'll probably hit the firewall.

  11. Geez its no wonder Toyota never really did much good at GrpA in Australia when you compare the MA61 to the Gibson GTRs. Money money money and a shitload of hard work... The MA61s a sweet car none the less.
  12. If its been sitting with fuel in it for that long you're going to have heavy corrosion in the fuel tank at an absolute minimum, possibly through all the fuel lines too. :S
  13. I'm surprised it didn't break down!! (the ferrari not the rolla) I almost ran up the back of one of these on QLD raceway. Rear pad fades just as bad as front as it turns out :S! Good thing he realised what was happening and gave me some room.
  14. Is your diff a banjo or a borg warner? Its possible you've got a 3.9 diff if its a banjo giving you the incorrect readings with a T50 speedo drive that presumably came with a 4.11 diff.
  15. I wonder how many AE92 owners have pulled up to an XB GT351 since and been thoroughly spanked hahaha
  16. Taz was just being pedantic. Usually if you ask a auto spares store to look up say a 1983 Toyota corolla clutch they'll just ask you "19 or 21 spline" referring to the K50 (KE70) and T50 (AE71). Then there's the aftermarket K to T bell housing which uses a 21 spline clutch but a smaller diameter clutch plate than the 4A which is what Taz is referring to. You want: 180*19*21.5 provided its a KE70 with a 4K and standard 5 speed (K50) gearbox.
  17. It'd be cheaper if you weren't using bigpond... *ducks for cover*
  18. Stick a complaint into ACMA. They love spanking telstra for doing dodgy shit. Good to hear you'll be changing too. We need to start to change the way that telstra operates. As it stands they don't have to offer any real value for money or quality service because people use them only because they don't know of any real alternatives or are concerned about the quality of the alternative companies. These days the alternatives are far more professional than the days of old when they were run out of a back shed (yes I did some work for an ISP that did in fact LITERALLY work out of the back shed, servers and all. Telstra bought them out!! rofl).
  19. That's a pretty broad diagnosis do you think? lol. It's like walking into the doctors and saying "my toe hurts" and the doctor turns around and says "well I think it's a problem with everything below the waist". Sounds like a metering issue to me but toyota EFI is not my strong point. Changed the oxygen sensor? They can sometimes throw up some whacky problems and confuse the hell out of the ECU but other cars will quite happily drive around with a dead O2 sensor (albeit with rubbish fuel economy). Vacuum leaks is the other big culprit of weird engine behavior and like TRD said the emissions gear would be worth looking at.
  20. They're all noobie cops. Seems the new police "fast track" recruiting is working a treat :bash: Man we're gonna get some low quality police in QLD over the next few years. Judy Spence you dumb ........
  21. Mines just make ROM chips. Get a good quality full ecu the first time or you'll end up doing what I've done and try a box full before you find the aftermarket ECU for you. My personal choice is Haltech. Ive had bad experiences with Wolfs. It'll all come down to the tune in the end so its worth having a look around at who prefers to tune what and take that into consideration.
  22. AFAIK the A's came with "Super response" or some other gimmick. K's had the hi-cam in order to "compete" with the Dattos who had already gone to OHC.
  23. Yep, its the wonder kesev. I got 612km from 45L last week, a little higher than normal (drove around with two people in the car and sat in traffic at the V8s) but finally broke the 600km barrier. Still wanna try and break into the 6L bracket so extractors, exhaust and a fixed ignition system might be the way to go.
  24. Gimmick. Doesn't mean shit. Has been talked about many a time.
