  1. Something tells me this wont be an option on the R35 GT-R. A fantastic idea in my opinion! http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic.../808040393/1148
  2. I usually grind a little step into both sides of the shaft if the shocks of little use once removed. Its tough to get a grip on but with the little step you can get vice grips/multi grips/shifter on there and the rest should be a piece of cake.
  3. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=15451 Just left overs that I had, finally got them to Teddy. More coming as required.
  4. SR20VET from a JDM X-trail would be a better choice. Still gonna have to buggerise around changing the orientation. Personally I don't think its worth the effort. Going to have to make a custom intake manifold and try to clear the CAS on the firewall (the CAS is setup like a GTiR... like all FWD SRs). Then in the end if you break something you'll have to wait months for parts from japan because there certainly are very limited parts available locally. And you need to use the ECU that comes with the VE motors otherwise the VVL wont be shifted at all. Then if you go aftermarket you're going to have to try and program the VVL. After all that you could have spent the time and money putting pistons, rods, mlhg, ecu, arp studs all through, camshafts, turbo and manifolds on a redtop and had an instant 300kw+
  5. Laboratory grade acetic acid will get it out Jon. It'll probably take your hair and scalp with it but the cement will be gone!!
  6. Only in PS13s, S14s and S15s accounting for about 90% of the SR20DETs ever made
  7. Who apparently have more money than brains... Personally I don't think a rotor is going to like drifting very much, CA18s have oil surge problems and SR20s will throw rocker arms if you're not mindful of the rev limiter. Decide which problem is less of an issue for you and go with that.
  8. Exactly. Theres nothing I hate more than forums that prune members. Sorry was my account taking up valuable database space? Please, MySQL can handle databases much more massive than your average forum. Sorry if I sound negative but its something I'm passionately against and in my eyes poor administration.
  9. You forgot the lollipops!
  10. Sounds like a browser rendering problem? Zooms not something I have control over.
  11. Australian Auto Sport Alliance. An alternative to CAMS! QLD raceway runs most of everything they can under AASA and only CAMS sanctioned categories under their licencing etc. Makes racing much more affordable and heaps less of the dumb CAMS rules. Safety standards are still very good and at the time attack days we've only had one person injured (who was driving way too fast in the wet). http://www.australianautosportalliance.com/aasa/
  12. Err we can just get one plate with all our mods on it. I've got multiple mods on my plate. I don't think I've ever seen a car in QLD with more than one plate.
  13. Haven't heard of AASA have you?
  14. Its just the limits the boffins tell us. Give it a few hours till there's more people on. Sunday arvo isn't a peek time for us...
  15. I first heard rumblings of this a few years ago when I went to Perth for Redbull Air Race but it looks like they're actually going to do it. Airframe looks like a Rutan VariEze clone which could provide some interesting racing. Like they say this will be the NASCAR of the skys because the varieze isnt really designed for aerobatic flight. It'll probably work fine for the dull Americans but RBAR is still where its at as far as I'm concerned. The F1 of the skys literally. Cool aircraft none the less! http://space.newscientist.com/article/dn14...kes-flight.html
  16. I've had a look at this on IE and it isn't working. It does work fine in Firefox however so if you want an instant fix http://www.getfirefox.com otherwise it could be a while. Cross browser compatibility issues can be difficult and time consuming to track down but I'll see what I can find. Done. Still has to be added to the for sale areas (they use a slightly modified skin). I'll see if I can find somewhere to squeeze it in again.
  17. Can be solved at the user level. Right click, open in new window. I for one hate popups or new windows when I don't want them.
  18. Definitely a ute IMO. I can't think of anything else that could leave a mark like that and leave the bottom panels virtually scratch free.
  19. And thank god for that! I am looking at a buyer feedback area but I'm not going to allow it to become the ebay A+++++++++++++++ type feedback which in my opinion is childish and an absolute joke. I also never intend to have a toymods rep system. I feel it makes it too difficult for newcomers to the hobby/industry/car scene etc etc to get a good start. I'm proud that rollaclub is able to foster these newcomers.
  20. Black ice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_ice
  21. I can't remember their exact road toll but its in something like 30,000-60,000 road deaths a year.
  22. When someone sets the shopping center on fire at some ungodly hour and the fire alarm decides it needs to be loud enough to wake up the WHOLE neighborhood. You can hear this thing from a few kilometers away! Then the fireys turn up, lights and sirens, but you can only just hear the fireys over the volume of the shopping center fire alarm!
  23. Rofl just looks like a demolition derby at the lights. Probably all too used to driving tanks. If you wanna waste hours and hours looking at cool pics from russia (Teddy and myself have :bash:) http://www.englishrussia.com. Its updated pretty regularly too!
  24. Yea I've seen yours but as it was pinned by medicine man I kind of assumed you had run it past him (and technically it does just say administrators).
