  1. Well that explains why 75+ tonne dumpies use disk brakes... Really its because its easier to make the same air/spring powered drum brakes they've been making for years than converting to a air over hydraulic setup like mining trucks. Most high end trucks are now using disks too (Merc for example).
  2. Its called sniping and I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. In reality its the eBay setup that allows for it. Ive seen other solutions that increase the auction time (by an hour from memory) if its bid on moments before it closes to allow other people to thwart the snipers. Seems to work well at stopping sniping but has other disadvantages (i.e. sellers extending their own auctions).
  3. rofl nothing funnier than watching someone look for something they're already holding onto or wearing... but I'm not usually cruel enough to let them keep looking.
  4. :( oops wrong emoticon... :( :D ;) :D :D :D ....*checks its not April 1st* Good riddence to that aweful shite! You know its going downhill fast when even the people paid to promote it are saying how aweful it is. No doubt it'll be replace with some other aweful crap (I live in hope it'll be an hour of Simpsons and/or Futurama... I can hope, can't I?!) but at least its gooone. There was word of another network picking it up in 2010 but you'd have to be dumb, deaf and stupid to run this rubbish again. http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/story...5016681,00.html
  5. How old are the clutch cables?
  6. Its probably more dangerous doing a brake conversion than leaving it stock. I've never had the standard drums give me grief or fail to pull me up in time. Yea that will help convince him its safe
  7. Ahh but the advantage of a watts link is that if you build it correctly you can use it to adjust the rear roll center
  8. Well its only got drums on the rear and there's still plenty of cars coming from factory new with that braking arrangement.
  9. :P Hey no slagging off my wonder KE70! Show me another Kesev that can get 580km from just 41 litres!!!
  10. I'll go measure mine tomorrow (maybe) to double check the standard measurements.

  21. People that park in my space at work....well not IN my space but just block it off so I can't park there. I mean seriously WTF!!? How retarded are these people?! "Oh I better not park there because thats someone elses park so I'll just park right infront of it so they can't park there". Its even signed as MY PARKING SPACE. Furthermore there are plenty of good carparks a few meters away. Apparently I work with complete idiots... no... I DO work with complete idiots!
