If you really want safety you wont cut them at all. That aside the thing that is most dangerous about chopped springs is the fact that nobody uses shortened shocks. That allows the spring to simply fall out if the suspension is fully unloaded. This is the catch 22 of chopping springs because by chopping you cause the car to bottom out the suspension frequently,that causes a bounce,that causes the suspension to unload and your spring may fall straight out.

thats a pretty poor attitude to have mate. especially considering the slow turnover rate of this forum the last thing it needs is a mad mod scaring people away. maybe chill out a tad :jealous:

I have had similar problems in the past and i was shown a relaxation technique that really works. Lay down in bed and breathe deep and slow.When you inhale flex all your muscles tight and then relax when you exhale. do this for a few minutes and you will be off with the fairys

On the intake you have no restriction and have boost to assist cylinder filling. On the exhaust you have the turbine in the way and no boost to assist cylinder clearing. Bigger exhaust valves are always required before bigger inlet valves in turbo engines looking for more power.

yes it all looks like its becoming a bit of a pain. ive always loved the ke55 shape, and would love to do it. 300rwkw is fun fun fun:). nothing like breaking traction at 120kph :jamie:
