Hi, Selling my 1970 ke18 panelvan. Resprayed white, Replaced 5k motor and box with a fully rebuilt 3k and a 4 speed box. Also got rid of the whinning diff that was in it and put a complete diff out of a sedan that I wrecked in it, nice and quiet now. :rolls: Put rust free guards and doors on it and replaced the accelarator cable and pedal so that it isn't 'so stiff and doesn't stick. Put rubber matting in the front floor as there wasn't any carpet. Also sprayed engine bay matt black, engine it is fitted with extractors and about a 2" exhaust system. Also I put a new pitman arm on it and adjusted steering box and gave her a wheel alignment. Comes with spare doors with door lining and glass, spare guards, bonnet, rear bumper, dash pad, interior kick panels, spare panel that goes between bonnet and windscreen and spare intstrument cluster plus a few other bits and pieces. :) Asking for $2000 ono. I didn't get any pics from the car show unforunately, but there was a ke30 sedan in very good order. It was a mustard/bamboo colour on SI rego. Complete stocko, looked like it had been restored. :D It was a very good day and my ke55 went well without any dramas. :wub:

It all depends on what you think is worthy?? As long as it's quite tidy and not a rust bucket and looks presentable then I would put it on display. I gave it a wax this morning and have cleaned up all the interior and chrome etc. You'll need your sunnies to look at it now. :jamie: :) So she's all ready to go, I'll grab some pics and post them up in the next few days. :)

Hi all, just wondering if anyone is going down this sunday 14th for the annual Shannon's Car and Bike Show held at Charles Hand Memorial Park in Rosny. I have my KE55 sedan entered in the modified section, so looks like I'll be giving it a good polish this saturday. :yes: :y: It's claimed to be the biggest car show I'm Tassie, as there is meant to be over 400 entries. :no2: I have been a number of times now, and it's a really great day, and you get to see a lot of other cars not seen when attending the northern shows. :dance: Anyway if anyone is attending or showing their pride and joy then let us know and I'll look out for you. I'm Wrecking a late model KE30 sedan. :hmm:

I had twin 32/36 dgv's on my 5k and now I have twin 40dcoe webers and they are much more better in every way. more power and torque, just got to make sure you get them dyno tuned to get the best performance from them. They might be a bit expensive to get setup, but they are worth it in the long run. The downdraughts don't flow as well, because the fuel and air has to go down and then along and into the engine. Where as sidedraughts just squirt fuel and air straight into the engine. :P

Oh my god that is absolutely overrated. :bash: :bash: :laff: :laff: :laff: Leave this ke25 the way it is, :) do not lower it, put guard mirrors on it, or mags on it or change the mechanicals, it would be worth a lot more in it's factory original condition. :bash: The only things I would do, is put some narrow band whitewall tyres on it and a rear venetian blind, other then that don't mess with it. :P Love these 70's colours aswell, great find. ;)

I'm going to put a pair of door mirrors on it, paint the steelies again, maybe put some rubber matting in the floor, put the rear bumper on, then give it a wash. :bash: Hey Banshee you need to change your profile pic and cars owned at the bottom of your profile info, lol. :bash: :) I know it's hard to say goodbye to an old friend. :bash: :P

Here's some much anticipated pics of my freshly painted panelvan. I need to repaint the steelies black, give it a wash, and put on the rear bumper and it will look even better. :) She's no show quality, but looks ten times better then when I first got her. (I'm still looking for a front bumper, so if anyone can help me out, I'd like to hear from you). :P

There's a blue slant front KE70 sedan for sale at the car yard on the way out to alanvale on the highway. The one up from Macca's invermay, coming into town. $890, body looks quite tidy rego til mid april 2010. :)

Is in the spray painters, awaiting a fresh coat of Toyota white. :) Will get pics once finished, hopefully this weekend. :blush:
