  1. Yeah anybody want a E7 tacho dash for $80 hahaha When the needle hits 180km your already not worried about it and concentrating on whats infront of you hahahaha  It appears that boostloosing hasn't let me down for cheap shite yet again just got offered a dash cluster for $80 hahahaha Somebody buy my shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. i'm using rb30 skyrice engine mounts on a ke70 crossmember and it looks like it may fit i just need to suss it out abit more yet Apparently they bolt straight in with rb30 engine mounts, ive also heard rb20 aswell
  3. yeah mate thats what i'm going to be doing after seeing your dash i likey alot, yeah i've still got a full harness
  4. Ok dave for starters BW lsd's are fooking shit house in falcadoors, KAAZ 2 ways for them are nearly $1-2000 and i have seen a KAAZ do singles, i don't want that to happen and a spool will push the car rather than let it turn freely I'm looking at using 4 - 6kg front springs and the same in the rear obviously leaning more to 5.5 - 6kg springs in the front and 4- 5.5kg springs in the rear And then just work from there
  5. hahahaha yes finally quoted *fist bumps air*
  6. Hey jp stop shit stiring, you'll be alive when it's done and you will love it and be envious of it  , and reed has a 70 and a ba coon so he can handle 4l's of horsepowers instead of an insane 3.8l's of utter gayness :P Reed don't pay atention to his shit, he likes poking sticks in shit when he's bored hahahahaha :lmao: Anyways i have gotten round to test fitting the dirty 30 engine mounts onto the motor and the second crossmember and it just might work, still needs abit of dicking about with, but it does look promising!!!! P.S i hate working on the grass it's just to bad i can't dig the front yard up and concrete it :bash: , will update further with some piccies and more talk tomorrow so the engine is not to far off being put into the car. Just need an engine crane for a weekend so i can do it once the mucking around is to my satisfaction
  7. maybe i'm a little crazy hehehe 4.11's might be the go but i'm gonna try out 3.45's 1st if there gay i can always sell them or put them into another car, and if there not cool for what i want then i'll find a set of 4.11's :D
  8. hmmmmm yeah, there is a fair difference in the torque, even then what does a turbo ca silvia run 4.11's??? 4.3:1???
  9. Still sitting at the same place it was before :bash: out of the car cause i didn't get round to test fitting the engine mounts today as it was so farking hot after walking down to the wreckers (having a licence and no running/rego'd car fails at life :( ) Still looks the same as before when you seen it last
  10. I am builiding my keto for this exact issue you have, and was disscusing it with my mate, and we came to the conclusion you would need adjustable everything, swaybars, rose jointed lca's(for more/less camber), coilovers (height, bound/rebound spring rates), camber tops, And a reliable as hell motor and drivetrain, I PERSONALLY am going to be using a turbo ca, cushioned button clutch, turbo ca box (till it breaks then go onto an rb box), one piece tailshaft, a falcon diff as i you can get heaps of ratio's for them (i'll be using 3.45:1 ratio as it's a good all-rounder) and mini spool in the diff (for drifting, plus they don't break( i know from personall experience) in a hurry anyways), Suspension will be made up of.... Adjustable front and rear swaybars (front bigger/stiffer than rear), rose jointed stock ke or xt130 lca's, camber tops, front coilovers unsure of brand/spring rates yet(with two sets of springs, one set stiffer then the other), adjustable panhard rod, adjustable height rear springs(AJPS is good for that ;) ) Thats how i am going to be setting my car up, any opinions or advice throw it out there
  11. price on a single one via pm please??
  12. that looks tops in there ryan, thats a clever idea right there :y: Keep it up it's coming along really well, hey how'd you go with the carpet in the boot did you end up getting it to fit nicely???
  13. Honestly the best way to stop crashes on the street is to send EVERY newly aquired licence holder to a defensive driving course, but NO that would cost to much to do, for example, the gov should make it compulsary to have the learner drivers undertake a d.d.c before they are even eligible to obtain there red P plates. I have done stupid shit on the streets, in most of my cars, while it's fun to kick the shit outta the clutch in 2nd gear and start skating across 2/3 lanes, i've fish tailed up beaudesert rd at 8am in the morning in peak hour traffic on a rainy day, i have also done shit on the skid pan at QR, and honestly i had more fun learning control of drift doeys/figure 8's on the skid pan than i have ever on the street doeys lock to lock across 2/3 lanes on quite roads. Call me a hoon call me a f@$kwit, i've lost my licence over 5 times now and am building a track car for the stupid shit so i only hurt me and my car, i still love the odd drift sesh but now it's only passengering in a mates cars on QR, or out on the skid pan practising myself I'm not about to start telling P platers to go be a f@$kwit on the street but there is a time and a f@$king place for it, it's the track or a private property
  14. well e7's are different left to right, and ajps should probably know that if there is L and R for a reason too, considering they do deal with alot of steering parts
  15. well here is a little progress on it :P it has a back seat that is for looks only...... the only time this will be used is probably Powercruise events and events like it  Back seats thanks to the devil's advocate Door trims dash and crap were there front seats will be going, i have bucket seats for the front but just don't wanna put them in yet.
  16. farkin oath not many people would like it though hahahaha only people who like lowwwwwwwwwwww hahahaha
  17. put rego onto it and drive the thing you've got the cash lol :P then just gather things to do it all, thats what you should do
  18. hahahahahaha can't sell a keto for what an aristo costs :P , you'd probs only get about half for an aristo Bumpers looks wicked on it dude
  19. pull the axle out and throw a straight edge on it i.e a level or one of those metre long metal ruler's or something dead straight then turn it around the axle, umm inner bearing would probably be just to pull the centre out and spin the bearing to see which it is
  20. will be gettin rb engine mounts probably tomorrow then test fit on second crossmember then if thats sweet it'll be dropped into the car :D
  21. black toyota symbol jap style on the back of the mirror head, would break it up abit and leave the whole thing beige  The rising sun flag imo wont look the best
  22. will have to drive the old girls car round one day soon to have a look
  23. Jake, the difference is the angle's the steering arm is on when it's the right way round (if you can imagine a steering arm the right way round, the hole were the tie rod end goes through is just slightly behind were the strut bolts to the lca and when you flip it 180 degrees it sits slightly infront of were the struts bolt together, And were the castor arm bolts into is different, they are quite a particular thing ye old LCA Yeah i was really lucky it didn't take the end of my fingers off, i would normally have used jack stands but they are under my old slanty front atm, so i thought i would be atleast sort of safe with a wheel under the crossmember, i mean you have 13inches of rim and then a 70profile tire and it managed to not catch any of the rim or tire WTF :laff:
  24. there is another bearing on the actuall diff centre inside the diff housing try checking that out mate, either that or check how straight ya axles are bud if there ripping through axle bearings just check if there twisted/bowed or bent
  25. well today i sorted out my wheel alignment issues, turns out i had the lca's in the wrong sides :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: , I am going to be concerntrating on getting the engine mounted and in the car the next few weeks, hopefully i will be getting engine mounts sometime this week - w/e, then just jack the box up to were it should be, i'm also chasing a lock spacer and xt130 or sigma lca's if anybody has either of them send me a pm please guys or girls
