  1. seriously dude i did, cause i wasn't under the car, i was working next to it on the lca's Obviously i wont be just using 1 rim again unless it's a 10inch wide wheel hahahahaha, I have stands and usually always use stands, but sometimes the stands can't always be used(in my case they were under another car) i'm not trying to turn this into a shit fight, i've learnt from my mistake So lets leave it there shall we???
  2. Holy shit your going to be a busy boy, all this so you can make ya misso's car fly? If this is the misses car whats your daily atm?
  3. i want to aye!!!!!!!!!, if i don't win this falcdawg i'm bidding on, i'll be fair into that car aye! I will atleast have the engine and box in the car by then hahahahaha
  4. i have got one picture, the passenger side bolts in alright but the drivers side has a little issue with alignment, plus it seems like it sits to the drivers side with the rb mounts but i'll sort it out and get back to you about it, Passenger side With the sr mounts are they the ones that bolt to the engine? And then a cortina rubber mount??
  5. it was laying flat, and i'm not that stupid to stand it up
  6. Well today has been abit of a creative ideas session with working out these engine mounts, i have skyline rb30 rubber engine mounts, and one side lines up overrated, the other not so much(has about a 5-10mm gap at the bottom of the rubber mount - x-member, when both mounts are bolted in), close but no cigar kinda thing, so my ideas have been to cut the steel mount on the crossmember and bend the mounts to shape the ca steel ones, or just get afew bits of 5mm steel and start again, I'd really like to mount the motor further back then it will sit with the rb mounts, it sort of sits off to the drivers side abit(well looks that way anyways), will see how bunnings goes tomorrow cause at the moment i'm just throwing ideas around Cheers
  7. flat black............ if it's a street car white cause white blends in alot better than flat black
  8. It'll get a shitload slower just to spit you hahahahaha
  9. Yeah i'd like to see it in the flesh and have a good look at it, if you wanted to drive to the southside to show it off :P hahaha So did you use the silvia/180 pedal box or just the pedals off it? How'd you go with mounting the accel pedal Did you use the ke booster or the silvia/180 booster???
  10. if it hasn't died yet don't expect it to hahaha
  11. Whats funny about making a mistake? Everyone does it, Axle stands were under another car so i couldn't exactly use them, so next best is a wheel under the car so if it does fall it stops before much goes wrong
  12. do it or ya weak :P takes 12 hours to do assuming the 5k runs already :D
  13. havn't seen it in the flesh :( just the piccies :y:
  14. i have seen the pictures of it in your build thread, i likey alot  how'd you manage to fit the pedal box in there?? or is it just literally the pedals?
  15. no wonder why you paid $20 good luck with it!!!! I personally would have found a straighter shell and started with that But keep into it and it'll come good, just check if it has any chassis damage, if so throw the car away and find a new one
  16. I will be after seeing yours :)
  17. flat black  :P hahaha i've only done a can job on my keto but parts of it came up overrated, mind you my car is all about go not so much show
  18. yeah will hit that speed one day  and i'd imagine afew things will shake and vibrate but it'll hold together, remember zip ties hold EVERYTHING hahahahahaha. I'd prefer to bulid one for 10k myself personally :D this setup has cost me $10 so far so i think i'm winning
  19. OH i forgot to add the tyre slap up the rear guard and half a rear bumpers from the MASS hectic single leggers, the southern cross stickers, the frangipani's and the mass 'FORSALE' sign cause it'll get the S1U7S to call THATS TRUE ADM STLYE RIGHT THERE
  20. Why don't you make your car ADM spec (Australian Domestic Market) e.g...... Cut your rear springs till there is about 1 coil left, standard shocks, leave the car in primer with a clear coat over it, Put a chev badge on it and put big gay chrome wheels on the front and stock skidders on the rear, slap a turbo on it and make a does pipe so you can get the wastegate flutter and impress all the S1U7S :lolcry: Then it'll be ADM AS FACK :y:
  21. Or be a slack ass and send it to someone who has the stuff to o it and say 'hey figure it out for me, make it go pssssstttt tutututututututu again' I just don't have the patience or the mind set to figure out car computers the theory behind it explodes my brain, Yes i have tried and YES i did fail
  22. So how long do I have to have a running car??, dunno how a falcon would go as a 'jap' car but does it count if it's slammed on meshies and fender mirrors??? it's either that or i pull my finger out of my ass win the lotto and get the pearl finished
  23. Mmmmmm expensive Wolf3D Yeah you gotta watch those spiders hahahah, yeah I'm just gonna use the stock computer and dr drift it, or get something flashy and expensive when the time comes for more horsepowers It is that bad when you have learnt that when your car doesn't run it's one of 3 things, fuel, air or spark!!!, and then they throw a computer on board to really confuse the shit out of you :glare: hahahahahahahahaha
  24. maaaaaaannnn more stupid little things to worry about hahahaha, Cheers mate, stupid computers :bash:
  25. I have seen a GENUINE KAAZ 2 WAY LSD spin a single wheel, run in corretly, fitted correctly by a diff shop not just a "backyarder", and on the skid pan at qr it spun a single wheel twice in one night :bash: I agree an lsd will always be better for circuit racing hill-climbs blah blah blah, but lsd's wear out over time were a spool wont!, a spool may snap axles, but I'll take paying $25 an axle over $500-1000 to get an LSD tightened I have had afew cars with locked diffs and they take abit of geting used to but once you have a REALLY good understanding of what your car is going to do with a locked diff then you can probably push just as hard as you would with an LSD What I ment by 'Push the car' is when you have a spool in a car or a locked diff, you can't take corners as sharply as you would with an open or LSD car because with a locked diff the wheels turn at exactly the same speed as one another so in turn it FORCES the car to go straight ahead i.e pushes the car
