  1. Ran 13.2 at 110mph with a slippin clutch and drivin it off the line 2.3 60ft! 12's here we come!
  2. Yeah ca18 is perfect in a light little corolla mine drives overrated as now i setup the suspension and had all the steering done. Squats really hard with no tramp. Probably sits a little too high for cornering but its setup to go straight really!
  3. stuff the boot room what about your life and other on the road??? just a thought imagine two poor little kids getting burnt in the event of a crash?

  6. Standard struts with 60/40 shocks and a late model corolla or celica rear springs. The reason for this is so the front lifts and puts more weight over the rear to help it squat. We did the corona struts to a mates seems ok. When i do it i ll keep the standard struts and do a coil over conversion ($1200) that way all your steering geometery stays the same. Yeah she is pretty nuts going back to peddars (free) for a little adjustment still tramps at the track of the line. Also rocks side to side pretty bad at 110mph
  7. Quick update. Retuned the rolla and put in some 580cc injectors. 12PSI- Made 277rwhp Heading out to willowbank today to run a few passes so i ll post the result later as long as i can keep the diff in it for aleast a full pass. Edit: Ran 13.27 babied it off the line to save the diff slow 60fter 2.375, 110mph which is good for a flat twelve easy
  8. i used escort mounts but they flexed too much so now i am using a round range rover mount.
  9. MAte i m using a Bosch fuel pump same as a Vl turbo commodore pump. it seems fine and making 205rwhp. It is up to the task but i get fuel surge when cornering hard on the street. I am going to use the vl pump as a lift to the surge tank and a bosch 044 pump to the motor, To stop the surge and ensure enough fuel n high boost. I have upgraded to steel buddy tube (5/8') from the pump to the motor as the old ones are to small. Remember rubber line is illegal and a massive danger. I will let you know if the pump is big enough when i smash some more boost in on saturday and its on the dyno.

  12. just tried the repco one. No go same problem i ll get the toyota one when i get round to it. Might go cut the old one open and squirt some contact cleaner on it and see if i can fix it.
  13. Nice mate good to see some other CA18 rollas burning it up. I ll have to get out to the track and race with you guys next time. Standard boost is about 6-7 psi as well.(Just to let you know not being a smart arse)

  16. Yeah toyota just order them for you no charge to get in in. But still $99 at trade price. I m yet to try my one from repco maybe det round to doing it tomorrow. Wreckers looks like the best option. Though i am sure i can work a way out to wire up two with a little time and research.
  17. Got the bad boy registered on friday. Its all going well. Had hardly ant axle tramp and she hooks up very well. Transfers the weight perfectly. Would recommend trevor the owner at moorooka peddars to anyone! Had a few races fuel injected V8 1 tonner Chopped it! VN SS manual chopped! Vz SS Manual Chopped and my favourite VX HSV GTS (300kw) I Was pullin away in 3rd when he backed off. Saving for hilux diff and new injectors then off to the 1/4 mile!
  18. you would nt believe $99 trade for a flasher and two week wait from japan. Found repco have one but $16 big difference!

  20. Quick Update New suspension Rear: installed a Anti tramp leaf, reset the pack and a extra leaf, New rear gas shocks and bushes Front: Has a rear spring from a celica i think. Same size and everything but a softer spring, New front gas inserts, bushes, bump stops. Also new idler arms, Tie rod ends, balljoints etc. The softer front spring is so it shifts more weight to the back and helps it squat Also found at autobarn a H4 headlight conversion look pretty trick and gives you thge option for halogen bulbs etc. Post pics tomorrow Its going for a rwc tomoorow can't wait To drive it there and get the girl registered!
  21. Worked out ny problem seems i can only get the indicators to work or the hazards not both. The standard flasher is stuffed (indicator just stays on). The only available flasher will be a genuine part as auto barn and supercheap don't have access to the flasher i need. Thanks for the comments though! Cheers Robbo
  22. can't remember if i ve ever had indicators working before i try right globes. Funny that hazards work but no indicators. Can anyone draw a diagram on how to wire them up with a flasher unit in the circuit??
  23. tired that and installed a spare stalk/switch assembly too. Tired a new flasher unit as well just then????? I don't know how to find the earths anyone???
