  2. cram a bottle in the radiator neck fill with water to create the highest point and allow car to heat up and open heater vavle should bleed it self if water pump is ok???? and thermostat is open
  3. 1.check fuses 2. check relay 3.check power at switch (brake pedal) 3.check power at fuse box both sides of the fuse 4.check if power to the plug on the light 5.check continuity to plug 6.check all earths. 7.check globe holders The easiest way is to reverse engineer the brake light system.   8. id be puting some oil in each cyl and crank it over by hand put a socket on the crank pulley to do it and wind over before using the key!

  14. i wouldn t think you ll make 190rwhp with a standard computer and standard boost cut. but you may nissansilvia.com is a good source for this kinda info bud! Also what is a type x sr20 turbo? Sr's had t25g (s13) t28 (s14) and t 28 ballbearing(s15) Just a comparsion my mates ca18 made 212rwhp with a t28 and aftermarket ecu and bigger injectors on 13.5psi
  15. use the orignal supply line for the return and if the surge tank is full there is no need to change the outlet from the tank to the surge, I used a screw tail fiting in the tank and some 10 mm fuel line to the pre filter yhen fuel pump
  16. universal driveline services at virigina in brisbane think its bilsen rd. HAd 4 or so made up there take you yokes both ends and they get you to messure from the output shaft to the diff flange and from seal face to diff flange. The will then work out how much to add to that messurement.   17. did the race car sit around idling much though??? You only need a fan for when its really sitting in traffic etc. You 'll find even with a temp sensor your fan doesn t really switch on when driving as there is enough air running though your radiator to stay cool!
  18. have you ever seen how small the standard ke35 radiators are??? Well i use one of them recored with a triple row core and a 10' thermo and switch in bottom tank.$340 (i think) Never over 95 degrees and thats at the track sitting between runs idling and street driving! considering its making 300 at the wheels it musdt be coping well. On my mates Ke70 ca18det we used a standard corona one and had the pipes moved cost $80 its sweet as I can send you to a good place where you ll get loioked after in brissie if need be!   19. they same to be the same box from whatr i saw when i just pulled a CA18DET box apart. Nissan pintara even looks the same (ca20). A proper det box has more ribbing on the outer case for some reason unsure as too way? All i did when putting a ca in a mates ke70 and in my 35 coupe, Was 1.cut the standard enigine mount brackets off the cross memeber.,Used range rover v8 mounts to bolt them to the motor 2. LOweerd motor and box (as one unit) into the car and scribed (marked) where brackets needed to be cut to ensure motor sat in the correct location. Both height, Sided to sside and fron t to back. 3. cut brackets as required and tack welded on. 4. Mark shifter location and cut out 5. messure and make up gearbox cross memeber 30x30 (25x25 maybe?? can't remember) box and some flat bar. Plenty of room for motor just remove standard fan and use a thermo. Radiator wither get a bigger corona one standard ca one or have a three row core put in the ke70 one and get a switch for the thermo put in the bottom tank. Use standard ca box and install a good clutch
  20. Nice work dude. Come to the boost cruising drag day! Our cars would be side by side. I did a 12.41 at 115mph. But with a 2.01 60ft next run was 1.82 but smashed the gearbox. nice work mate. What turbz u running again??

  23. NExt week she ll be out willowbank i hope only just got her going again since april (new box and clutch). Still going to just run 14psi though as i m thinking bout selling it again if i get the right amount! But hoping flat twevle on street tyres. Got new goodyears today on my company car so i ll be using them next week ha ha! Cheers NIck!
