Mate the car now starts and runs!!! Enigine bay is complete just have to get the standard brakes working 100% and have my run in tune done fri or mon can't wait probably be ready next week. probably 150 on run in tune and we reckon well get 300hp atw once I run the motor in. Try and put some more pics up tomorrow of the cooler and finished e/bay. It makes me horny!!! Ke70 84- carefull thats where i staarted just stock n/a ca18 and it started to grow and grow first just extractors, then standard turbo, then a rebuild to suit the turbo, then i got to caried away rebuilt a turbo block big turbo etc my now cheap project that i had planned on has now blown out by 10G. yeah no fuses thers just 4 wires from cas plug straight to the mircotec. Thanks thou any ideas help

My car was finally ready to fire today. (CA18det in KE35 'Rolla Coupe) 1.Cranked it over got oil pressure, 2.Pluged coil packs back in tried to start and there was no signal from the crank Angle Sensor. 3.Tried 300zx sensor turned by hand, still no signal. 4. All wiring is correct. There is continuaty from computer end of each wire all the way to the back of CAS plug. So either both Crank Angle Sensors are rooted or my Computer may be Dicky. Anyone had any simalar experinces or have any ideas what the problem could be??? Thanks Robbo

quick update motor is back in along with new exceddy clutch. cooler modified and half the piping done, wiring done, Gt25/40 and stainless maniflod on. Also now removed butterflies from inlet manifold, Rising rate fuel reg, steel fuel line from tank sussing r33 4 spot brakes and hilux diff (Just need money lol) I m hoping it ll be two weeks till ready to tune. I will deffintly be at Powercruise though with this baby in qld this year.

yeah that number would be good just checkin my options and prices thinking about r33 and 4 piston cailpers at the moment looks like shouldn't be to much work. Also let us know who did you diff if you could. Cheers robbo

how hard was the commodore brakes to do as in fitting the disc to your strut?? any info would would be sweet as i need to sort something out!

my motor is now in. so is the new clutch, intercooler bolted in. The boys only need to do my cooler piping and then my exhaust then its just a few little things to go and then the mircotec and a tune. Need to do a brake conversion before i drive it to far!

MAte i like the colour this could be a real tidy little unit some nice rims would set it off(no chromies though). Keep it up i reckon turbo this beast or one of the little toyota superchargers would keep prices down.

just seen the fella bout 300zx brakes he has a ke55 track car looks sick has 6 degrees neg camber so tough lol. Anyway wont do them for a street car as doesnt want any liabilty issues. But he told me he runs corona struts with skyline discs gts-t 4 spots and a litace van diff with Front wheel drive offsets (no shortning needed). Also said a tp magna disc will fit has the same pcd just needs flange with wheels studs machined down a bit and 14" wheels and commodore cailper with adapter plate About the mazda calipers ring idb in melbourne and he was really helpfull would be able to tell you what you need to know i would be 95% sure adapter plate will be needed though!

don't forget about the axles??? are they the same o.d and are they the same style spline. I know my ke35 ones are smaller then my mate ke70 ones. just a thought!

yeah mine was re done as well about two years ago although its never seem the sun yet it looks as good as the day it left the factory. They re-wrapped it with the hard stocko style plastic vinyl stuff looks awsome i had a auto trimmer send it off for me cost $220.

hey guys went down again today to see my motor before assembly the cp forgies look to good to put in my motor there awesome. Also took my t28 back to predator motorsports and had a chat to one of the boys there who is running the same set up as my motor less the n/a cams but runs the same gt25/40 and comes on full boost at 3500rpm this is in his siliva and was tuned at milanco also. Pulled 311rwhp and last weekend went 12.6 with a previous best 12.2 so i can't wait for mine. Pics loaded!
