For Sale 1996 Holden commodore ute 5 speed manual v8 5 litre 193000kms Its a very clean well looked after example of a rare manual v8 ute, It features powersteering, aircon, disc brakes all round, 16x8 roh alloys, abs, sony headunit with ipod aux and usb, sony 6.5inch spits very good sound, low kms for year, it has a greenfoam tune chip installed, 2.5 inch sports exhaust with extractors, cold air intake as well as high flow filter, it was lowered by previous owners with lovell springs and koni orange shocks which are adjustable. I service it every 10 000kms, and always use premium 98 or higher Recently replaced: Radiator and coolant etc as well as all the welsch plugs brand new heavy duty clutch installed all fluids have been routinly changed every 10000km including diff, transmission and engine oil etc as well as filters located in the sutherland shire sydney $7000 negotiable

alot, not worth it if you can't do any of the work, labour would be the killer, also would defeat the purpose of a wagon as it would eat up the intereior space.

i bought a auto diff and its 4.11 realised my wagon diff is also a 4.11 raito though :bash:

hi are st141 corona front struts an upgrade to ke70 ones? are they similar to 86 struts in that a larger diameter shock fits?

its only flimsy sheet metal in the sills, i've crushed a vls sills doing that

i've searched but found nothing, in my e7 sedan the chasis rails are easy to place a jack stand under but in my wagon the leafs are in the way of the rail, and i want to replace the bushs on the leafs and flip one of them, where can i put the stand?

i got one for a ke70 for $10 on ebay, i also noticed a T-18 repair manual at my local library check out a library first

is it possible to fix the speedo issues if i put an auto diff into my manual ke70? i'm guessing the original borgy is a 3.9 and the auto is a 4.1. (or is it 4.3?)

does anyone else have their lights turn off for a half-second when turning left? my mates ae71 also did it. how do you fix that

the hose i'm holding in my hand is the vac advance and the fuel canister thingy that i t'd into, not sure if i'm ment to do that. the hose i ment is the 2nd one of the rocker cover that connects into that spacer on the original carby

i've got it running, it was the timing at first, i adjusted the mixture and idle screws, cleaned it up with carby cleaner and put on a accelerator cable, whered you get the pcv breather from? i went to repco and couldnt find anything in that diameter. and whats the other hose thats ment to go into the carby? also i have a strange whistling noise coming from somewhere, i sprayed "start ya bastard" around the carby and it doesnt pick up in revs so i'm guessing theres no air leaks. heres some pics and a video

Hi i've tried to search for some answers but couldnt find it, i just put a 32/36 weber dgav on my 4k ke70 and it doesnt want to start, i've blocked off the emission hoses and attached what i thought is the dizzy vacuum advance. i've got the fuel connected and the engines turning over but it wont start, its almost there if i fiddle with the accelerator and choke flap. Also i havnt connected the accelerator cable to the carby yet, how do you do it? heres somes pics

i know this post was a few years ago but i had the same trouble when i put my extractors on, i just advanced the timimg and it runs perfect now, no flat spots.

what about a VW transporter van? turbo diesel 2.5, heaps of torque , ment to be pretty quick for a van

Hi i recently purchased a weber 32/36 DGAV carby off a rs2000 escort and it doesnt seem to have the water choke assembly attached to it, can i just fit the original manual choke off the aisian carby to it? and do i just block off the original emission hoses? thanks
