  1. it is exciting, but also very under-developed, all in time something will come from it
  2. hehe my mate davo would do it, ill get him to and take the credit :rocknroll:
  3. yeah i knew ur point, but i just thought it should be mentioned that often people think wow 8 second pass why arnt they on the street, and thats because the biggest problem is storing enough energy more energy to create or to extract? coz if theyre talkin create, like deep down under the ground in huge heat and pressure then thats hardly surprising
  4. slab compared to 6 pack... :rocknroll: actually I'm not that dum, ill keep my self conscious hehe ill try tomorrow to beatt he time tomorrow, I'm too tired right now oh my, ive exceeded 500 posts...and i don't know which one it was :P
  5. bah i ahve gas....well the tank, and the carb....the car will be ready to start soon, then i have to work out how to get some gas in the tank...eeek gas is a good stepping stone, cheap and low emissions :rocknroll: yes, but they can run for longer, they just can't turn or maintain a nice speed, but the electric cars die
  6. but the thing is they ran an 8 second pass or whatever but thats hardly useful to a road car, the car batteries prob don't last much longer than the quarter mile i think in 30 years everyone will still be arguing about this shit and getting no where
  7. lol, were all a bunch of substance abusers, i love all those things, esp. the wd40 mmhmm lol
  8. i don't drink beer :rocknroll:
  9. i thought about this last year, ebay sell the kits, but the coula hundred wasnt worth it at the time, I'm pretty sure they were on ebay anyway...have a look, and yeah they fit any car without too many hassles :rocknroll:
  10. a slight effort yes, but nothing extreme, just don't drop the screw down the shaft okies ill add u to the list, its just a prelim list at the moment til i get somethin more definite organised cheers
  11. i did once, and it just took a bit of cranking, but if you clean them before you put them in your definately not gonna have any troubles
  12. yeah, but its usually not that deep
  13. no, hence why I'm not gonna go 265's unless they do fit, but i think 225's are pretty close, close enough for the guards to be rolled anyway
  14. no no, he's just an idiot nice and slow, high revs, would usually work, until you put the air intake underwater :rocknroll:
  15. tip to many people that may not know or get told this, clean your points in a solvent of description and dry them before putting them in, they have a silicon coat to stop them corroding on the shelf, and unless you remove this theyre not particularly keen to start :rocknroll:
  16. wellll, he got worried as it came up aroundt he bonnet and thought, hmm this is deeper than expected, then it stopped. it actually wasnt all that deep, like he opened his door and got out and it didnt come in his door, its just the shape of the falcon, it made the water roll up, not around or thru the grill etc plus he wanted maccas :rocknroll:
  17. lol muller do you have the manual for a car which has a w57 in it? mmmm 265's *drools like homer simpson* is 265 the widest you can go? but i think by that stage ill be needing to flare the gaurds....
  18. lol funny story bout that, i gave my mate a red face competition at school where you hold the collar of ur shirt around ur neck....he passed hehehe no, just feel a tad oxygen hungry i will try at some stage, i promise ....
  19. hmm...u out there super jamie? i could prob do it, its not gonna be that hard, just need to know what speed the thingy in the end of the gearbox spins at hmmm
  20. lol, who knows, it mite be, i mean unless u sit down and actually calculate the rolling diameter of the wheel, work out all the ratios and work out what the throttle cable spins at theres no way you will really know i know that 638 revolutions is one km on the speedo, but thats all i know :rocknroll: i just hope its right, if not i have some playing around with numbers to get the right cable :P
  21. hehe, mayyybe i could try and organise like skidpan/track so theres somethin of each, coz i wanna see what my car can do, but don't wanna on the road ive never done either, i really should do a driver safety course aswell hmm so u in rjenman? depending on what we end up doin?
  22. hmm thats what i thought, but its been running that gear for a while, so i think it may have been done properly, when i get it dyno'd ill compare the speed on the speedo to the speed on the dash...should give me a fair indication :rocknroll:
  23. i told him the only reason it happened it coz it was a shitty ford he larfed :P oh well, the falcon is good for towing home all the corollas that arnt running, then again my 1ggte ke70 will be good for that aswell i think :rocknroll:
  24. ill try tomorrow :rocknroll:
  25. hehe cheers guys, i got her goin :) took the bendy piped intake manifold off and tipped most of the water out, put it back on, spun it over some more, plugs in spin it over, yell swear curse, and up she goes yay!!! bit of steam comin out, but it didnt go through the carb...coz there is none, so thats pretty good
