whats the effect of using a bigger/smaller oil filter? ive heard it changes the oil pressure but wasnt sure if this was correct.

id agree with that but it is the head that changes the emmisions not the block (yes?) so that throws a pickle in the works

have u used a multimeter to get a reading off the battery yet? sure fire way to check if it is ur alternator and just go to the wreckers and pick up another alternator, if not i duno where ur located but u can have my spare for like 30 bucks or somethin

u make a fair point trendact and its prob very tru, most companies wouldnt bother with the cost of producing their own units when they can source good products from other companies for a lower cost i could always edit my post and put no space, or 3 rolla boy....i like both ur cars actually tho so it doesnt really matter :wink:

strange that it dies, and you can jumpstart it and keep going, it may well be the alternator giving no charge, but for the car to run for 10 minutes of a jump start is impressive
