i reckon that would have been alright, but i mean 4age started when...like 85 or was it later? was when it first saw the light, and it was toyotas first crossflow small engine, i don't know about bigger engines, but really they were well behind alot of other manufacturers and even then it was only in the performance range, not an everyday motor, even ford ran crossflow in lasers etc before then, in just their normal cars. but toyotas caught up now which is the main thing :( :) can't stop thinking of the possibilities of that 3kr, its definitely interesting

I'm lagging behind lol seems to involve coloured people and swearing.....more info plz lol ok, now down to business.... now are ya scared muller? :( irokin, whats exhaust pipe usually made from and what sort of alloy are we talking? talking to people in exhaust shops when i was getting quotes, and when i told one bloke i wouldnt need a cat coz I'm on lpg he almost had a tantrum trying to make sure i didnt have the petrol tank in the car :) , so I'm assuming it must be if you have a fuel tank or not, ill look into it, but the guy said if you have no fuel tank she will be fine without a cat :wink: cheers for the suggestion on east coast customs, any more or anyone else with more? i struggled to find places to do the cooler piping, and then finding people that will do it well, but cheao, its a whole new ball game to me :cool: cheers for all the help :hmm:

well, story time again kids :( yesterday i was at lewis hose and seal, you southside boys should know them, great place :) but anywho, came out after finding out a 2" silicone bend would be 75 dollars :wink:!!! and me and my mate hopped in and a xr8 ute pulled up beside, as i start her up he puts his head in the window and said something along the lines of "wow, nice sounding car mate" and was rather surprised by how tough she sounded so really, alota people can be "fooled" if thats what you want to call it into thinking you have a pretty dam fine car. keep in mind this was just a 4k.

yeah dude, go the exhaust :) and you JC person, a good exhaust is a step on the way to making good power, usually a good exhaust is a loud exhaust coz its less restrictive :( so if you go extractors and a bigger exhaust with a high flowing muffler you will make more power....most of us "stupid boy racers that drive our "shitbox" corollas as you like to call them can't afford a 330Cibbq so do what we can with what we have.

so true. comin out of work just before and as i just got me license gunnin it up, bought 50k in second so i was shiftin for a 10k road outta the car park, and i come round the bend, coppers are talkin to a bunch of "hoons" and as i come round they look up and are tryna get a better look, without the exhaust i woulda been able to brake before the heard me, but its ok, they never followed me...phew!

yeah rolla boy, I'm still not sure, but ill just have to see how it goes, i mean alota cars have body kits that are lower muller it has been a good thread, i was surprised to get so much feedback, glad to see all the boys lookin out for me :( now another question, just thought id chuck it in here, i chucked it in another thread aswell but meh... i did a bit of running around today getting prices for a few different things inclusing exhaust all i need is a pipe from the turbos to the muffler, which is behind the diff, I'm getting it made from 3" pipe. what sort of price would people expect today as I'm getting quotes of 400 bucks as my cheapest, is that about right or am i getting bent over? also intercooling piping, getting it made out of exhaust pipe 2.5" painted gloss black so she'll look alright, price is about 400 including the reducers and and join onto turbo outlet, its 8 bends i think, is this a good price? it was the only place i found that would do it and i thought it sounded reasonable enough more worried about the exhaust price, what do people reckon? cheers guys :)

what he said ^ lol half the reason it was so hard for me to get my license, i don't use all the little niceties, i drive proper like :cool:.......be afriad :) only place ill use mirrors is on the highway, if i wanna change lane ill check with the mirror then if i think its clear look for real other than that i just look

neither of my early model ke70's have one, and ones an xx and ones a cs. the 1g ke70 is an 84 model, think its a cs as it doesnt have remote release for boot or fuel cap, and it has the integrated door mirrors of course and they actually fold away, not sure if I'm just special or this is normal behavior..guys? teddy..update...now! pleaaase?

i believe they are ma61 rims on that ke70, although I'm not sure, just saw ur pic and thought...ive seen those b4, so yeah thats a very neat ke70 belonging to a member i think and i think the wheels work well with the colour, but maybe not every colour... just thought id give ya a look, i like them :cool:
