if they are going to take corolla's and old cars of the road i hope they just don't cube them send them to the wreckers such as u-pull it so blokes like us can get cheap parts instead of having to source expensive rare as rocking horse sh#t parts i got into corolla's because they are reliable and CHEAP the love developed when i have had fantastic yet troubled times with mates doing them up less corollas in the world NO THANKS Harry

ive got the cams out of my 4afe head but is there a special trick in getting the valve springs and the valves out the little ring that holds the valve spring in place i can't undo and i don't know the tricks is there a simple way or do i need a special tool may seem a Noob question but this is the first toyota head ive ever pulled apart thanks in advance Harry

right oh off to super-cheap i guess so how do u get the clip out any special ways or does it spring out?????

the cam cover has two large under flap things while the other one from the 4afe doesn't i was just worried about that got it to seal with new gasket fine i am just a bit worried about clearance due to the metal flap thin-goes cheers Harry

i can get a manifold from south africa to suit the 4afe head for 220 posted i have a fair few carbies that i would just need to rebuild i can get linkages and jets to suit what would i have to do i.e. plug the injector holes in the head etc i know how to tune carbies and my mates dad is practically an expert on carby's if i find a way will make a thread about it pics and all for future carby nuts to view thanks Harry

does it matter about running a 4af cam cover on a 4afe engine i noticed that the 4af cam cover is slightly different i need to know if I'm going to break something =???

i have been told that fifth generation 4afe piston raises compression when put in an earlier generation motor is that true do they have the same pin 18mm i think or are they 20mm or larger thanks for the Help Regards Harry

righto where can i get high comp 4afe pistons and what comp 10.1 i was thinking of getting a piggyback ecu or running twin carbies with a manifold from south africa as i have many webers,dellorto,solex i can get a hold off

i may as well use the head i have i can get hold of a small port bottom end cheap also another question which valve springs fit the head smallport or bigport or what cheers

box of turbo's bout 25 there most didn't work but i got 2 near new t25's and sold the rest for parts payed 15 bucks for the box got 400 for the parts and sold one of the turbo's to a mate and made 200 not bad investment for 15 bucks still got the other t25 one of the real bad ones was cracked all the way through and nearly fell into pieces when i picked it up no idea how you could destroy one that much must have had a crash cheers

looks good just picked up my rotors didnt get the slotted ones got the normal onese with bendix pads getting kyb shockers on thursday ill tell you how it goes how easy was it to put them on shouldnt be to hard eyy i got new rear shoes for the drums may as well while I'm there as I'm putting kings in cheers Harry

can anybody tell me if i can put a 4afe head on a 4age block or 7afe block what components of the 4age or 7afe block will i need and can i use most of the 4afe accessories etc the head is ported polished and will be getting a hardwelded cam profile the same as the web cam on their site and 4age valve springs as of this weekend cheers

is it worth it or should i just get hi-comp pistons made up stuffing around i mean not clearing the valves etc etc

i know the injectors in the 4afe are tiny and are just enough to run a stock engine has anybody tried running bigger ones any ideal ones I'm getting a bigger fuel pump to suit cheers

lost a 20 dollar note to a weber 45 on my mates alfa romeo never got it back those carbies can suck alot of air don't know how it happened but it did
