  1. mate i might be wrong but i think there is no such thing there is old stock that has been rebuilt but no new engines if that is what you are looking for
  2. my dad just brought a 1983 720 ute and i love it 4spd 1800 engine uncracked dash overrated interior minor rust nothing i can't fix large tray 122000 kms original new radiator new exhaust and all sorts of other things silver paint - bonnet faded dual cab will post pics soon plans 32/36 weber kit mild cam nothing major extractors better paint rust repair then leave the rest

  4. I used to come on every day but for some reason its a bit boring now its all the same posts that people have just added replies too or ke70 driftaz or silly questions that have been answered 1000 times mostly about ke70's no offense to ke70's or their drivers. :happy:
  5. mate if you want it running perfectly take it to someone who knows what they are doing and get a really good tune it will cost more but if you supply the bits they need it will be cheap

  8. right i can get a haltech piggyback for 1500 installed and tuned any good
  9. mechanical injection , forged everything, monoblock, formula one style intakes and head design, bout 14.5-15.1 compression running methanol. av-gas titanium rods and pins a really good ecu/loom custom made run it like a dragster engine. the piston is basically half full of fuel 10,000 rpm rev limit then 7 psi and you will get the figures just thought i would add to this for the fun of it Harry

  14. I'm looking for a St205 GT4 half cut i need to do some measurements and see if its cost effective for using engine, drivetrain in my ae95 found somebody who has already done this what do you guys think i am serious about doing this btw maybe not this year but probably the next

  16. if you can fiberglass then do it make sure you get ALL the rust out and rust inhibiter once its back to bare metal then fiberglass and spray good luck with it mate
  17. are you good at welding find someone who is and weld in some plate then skim it over with a good quality filler a and spray it you can fiberglass it but it will look like shit if you don't know what your doing just my 2 cents :happy: Harry

  19. i may as well get an aftermarket ecu I'm thinking wolf 3d or a micro-tech whats the best option for bout 1000-1200 installed and tuned toyota ecu's are hard to do much to even with a piggyback
  20. One thing that shits me is when you are driving on a country road at night being careful and a giant kangaroo jumps right in front of the car. my mate hit one in his subaru completely rooted it crushed the whole front and left meat pieces everywhere ouch!!!!
  21. Have been looking around for an aftermarket ecu but found this http://www.dastek.co.za/ they have dealers in Australia and i am guessing i can get it tuned at a dyno what do you guys think has anybody used them a few guys in south africa have had good results with these regards Harry

Getting defected for anything and everything in adelaide it really makes you not even want to own a car or work on one knowing it will get picked by the police once its defected its a real pain to get it off at regency and if they don't like you they will always find something to not let it pass like my friends dad's ute after his 4th attempt when he was frustrated enough they didn't lift the defect because there was 1.1 mm of paint overspray on the indicator he took it outside and took it off with acetone and had to pay another fee to have it looked at ' i think they found something again finally after around 4 grand of trying to get it off he finally did it and lost all respect for the police and the the government great isn't it hey
