  1. If he has so much cash to burn why not a fully worked 4age rb26, rb25 or even a 3stge if he has to use a large engine why not a 1jz or 2jz i don't think he can go turbo because of the new laws
  2. Anybody want to share ae95 info build ideas or anything p.m me and tell me bout your build.

  3. topping up the oil on my friends shitty volvo his cousins had come round the day, they now like fishing don't know how old they bout 4-5 he let them go through his tackle box with swivels, hooks sinkers etc The oil was very near them when they were stuffing around with the gear. we didn't realize what they had done until the next day when the volvo started and soon made a really bad noise then stopped and wouldn't work would just turn over and make noise It seems the cousins had put a handful of fishing gear into the oil we hadn't used a funnel or we would have noticed the sinkers, hooks and swivels going into the engine. gotta love younger relations
  4. i was recently at u-pull it down here in s.a i go there allot and always find all sorts of poverty stricken mods or make do fixes such as -holes drilled all the way through the exhaust system -really really bad bog jobs with no sanding back or anything -patched exhaust holes with bundy cans cut out and held on with large hose clamps -sprayed dash, gear knob, steering wheel etc with a spray can (spray can still in the car) -neons held on with cable ties -found a fake turbo/supercharger thingo have you guys ever found anything povo or just plain weird at u pull it or at another wreckers before??????
  5. i have a mate who has a s#it load of glass that has been cut wrong or ordered incorrectly over the years lying around i was thinking of making table using an engine block and some nice 10mm glass only question what engine would look nice would like the sparkling chrome look what do you guys think any suggestions Regards Harry :)

  8. hahaa fair enough it was a fair stupid question i soon will be finished school and will probably do the same thing and harass school goers. but i will one day prove you wrong and make a 500bhp 4afe on 100psi just you wait and see Regards Harry
  9. you might be surprised but the old ke's are catching on these days people at my school consider them "cool" and "classic" one guy at my school has the most overrated unrestored ke30 i have ever seen everybody doesnt bag it but admires it i cop shit for having a ae95 but i love the thing for being individual and a little bit odd Harry
  10. i use magnatech in everything- will help with cold starts and is good for older engines never had a problem with it
  11. i love and work every weekend on old alfa 1750 veloce's and alfetta's etc i know a thing or two about rust nothing shits you more than a complete resto and respray only to have rust bubbles 1 year later wonderfull russian steel those italians recieved mmm
  12. the dcom carbies have a diaphram accelerator pump and the dcoe has a piston type out of personal experience the dcoe are better pre emmisions carbies are the best the newer ones seem to be limited while the pre emmision ones can be whacked on anything and depending on the fuel pump be run on practically anything as long as you have enough money to purchase the excess fuel!!!! Hope that helped Harry
  13. If all else fails take it to someone who knows what they are doing and pay a little bit of cash to have it properly tuned ivano motors or any other place that specializes in old Alfa's or fiat's that run dellorto or weber carbs will be able to tune it cheaply and get a good result my friend has his race car's carbs tuned professionals and it cost about 50 bucks for both
  14. the engine could be a 2nd gen 4afe and it has 40mm webers or dellorto carbs it would be expensive to set up if you didnt have any experience with tuning etc and there isnt much point as the engine is stock and all that would happen is you would gain a few more horses but fuel economy would decline rapidly also it might need to be engineered because it may not pass emissions Its possible if you like the trumpets so much why don't you see if youi could fit some 20v throttle bodies and run trumpets you would need an aftermarket ecu correct me if I'm wrong rolla club members Harry
  15. so they are not really crucial i can do the brakes whithout them??? how much noise is it worth waiting till i find them?
  16. thats the one I'm pretty sure can't get a pic but it looks exactly like it i have 3 i believe there are 4 thanks
  17. i have been in the process of replacing my rotors and pads etc on my ae95 but unfortunately i lost some parts i have lost a little pin/spring thingo that i believe pushes out the pads when they are being worn i don't want to have to drive out to u pull it and find it sorry bout the description i know its a bit vague but i can't find it in any diagrams i really want to get the rolla back on the road thanks for any help Harry
  18. here are a few things i hate the people who park in front of the pallets of cement/fertilizer etc 5 minutes before closing time and we have to wait for them to leave before we can move it 10 MINUTES LATER this happened a few days ago in the pouring rain. people who tie there body-kits on with cable-ties how is that gangsta drift king? Finding a huge long scratch along your car because some idiot didnt like the look of it regency when the "engineers" don't know the difference between a dipstick and an intercooler people who use firearm's inappropriately and spoil it for the rest of us by shooting the neighbors cat or worse the list could go on.........

  22. righto oh my bad (question 3) so can i just take the whole efi manifold off and swap it for carby manifold i thought in the first generation head the injectors were in the head as i had to take the rail off the head ??????
  23. king springs are good but it really depends on what car you put them on and if they are progressive or not some king springs like the ones my mate brought for his race car were very very stiff and the ones he brought for his road car were soft and we eventually replaced them with pedders
  24. first question can a 4af carby manifold fit on a 4afe i can get a manifold to run twin 40 dellorto carbs or a manifold to run a 32/36 can i use my standard cable and linkages?? or do i have to go custom what else would i have to do besides plug the injector holes (leave the injectors in i have been told) to run carbs i don't like ecu and don't want to buy a standalone i can tune and maintain carbs easily and can get as many carbs as i want practically free thank you for your time regards Harry
