  15. i can get a 4age 20v or a 16v 4age bigport i would prefer bigport i want to tinker and learn on the engine and there isnt much you can do with a 20v i love the sound of the 16v and when all the loom ecu etc is in the car if the 4age goes i can swap it easily for much cheaper than the 20v I am going to be offroading etc i want something that can take a little bit of a beating it would kill my pocket if the 20v blew Even tho the 16v is alot more work to put in the car i think i will get a 16v over the 20v cheers
  16. i am tossing up between a 20v or a 16v i want a engine that will last i have heard that the 20v has a few problems with it also the 16v has more parts i want the engine to last and be tough what engine should i go with any opinions cheers

  19. thanks good that i didnt make the mistake hey lol cheers
  20. that is cool imagine the noise with a straight thro exhaust
  21. I have a 4afe in my car atm it goes alright and pulls nice up a hill better than my mates 4age but it bottoms out really fast your best bet for now is to get a good induction some extractors and a better exhaust if you want to go further chip it get a 7afe gasket puts compression to 10:1 you will need a better thermostat you will then get a reasonable power increase especially in the torque department I might tune my 4afe instead of a 4age but parts for the 4age are so common and are so available to tune a 4afe would be great but no parts are available and everything has to be custom if you wanted heaps of torque and power maybe a turbo would do there are manifolds on ebay or have one made up but it all comes down to how much cash you want to spend and time
