  1. Fixed :P
  2. Man it'll be so much better, swaybar, castor adjustment, negative camber, disk brakes, tight rack, just need to get the rack mounts checked and put the coilovers together and it'll be an entirely different beast to drive. Cheers Snot, I'm getting pretty keen to use them, got a lot of stuff laying out to put to use at the moment
  3. Can anyone with a ke20/ ke20 struts do me a favor? I was sure I still had a pair but can't find them at this second.. I need a photo of them side on to see the angle of the stub axle in relation in the strut.. As in how far laid back the strut would have to be to get negative camber in a ke10
  4. 30mm I only have one photo which is covered in mud and shiz from where i had it mocked up but. Ke20 Crossmember (holes welded and re-drilled) Ke70 rack Custom mounts with ke70 top rack mounts Shortened tie rod ends Ke30 Lca's Ke10 steering column gutted with ke70 innerds and shotened ends etc to suit ke10 position As well as ke20 swaybar and castor rod setup. I'm not happy with my rack mounts though, so i'll re-do them or weld ke70 ones on or something. (Sorry about the photo)
  5. G'day guys. Just thought i'd chuck up something i did today. I pulled my Ke10 dash cluster apart and removed the MPH speedo dial with the intention of scanning it in and making a kmh one, When i had an idea.. I found a ke20 dash cluster i had laying around my house, and pulled that apart as well, and sure enough.. it'll fit!Z It all lines up, 60mph is where 100mkh is etc etc it's all sweet! And, Fits straight in! No mods needed, Went straight back together and looks factory Sweet!! Now i know what you'll say, it wont be accurate, but, from 40kmh up it is. It's just because of the ke20's '0' is in a different spot to ke10's so the low speeds wont be right.. But, this will be fixed, after my manual conversion and new wheels as i'll have it all callibrated. But from 40kmh and up, She's all good!
  6. Should make a good noise! More keen for this front end than anything
  7. Rack and pinion front end pretty much finished!
  8. Whats with all the holes along the beaver panel?
  9. Trying to make me jelly??? Stuff this. I'm finding a CC keg!
  10. The bore on what sorry? The carbs?
  11. Hipstervision, nice. Hahah Ma61 seats are great, massive upgrade over corolla ones
  12. Oh yeah I'm not saying it'd last because I reckon another 10 seconds and it would have ended pretty abruptly, but I mean I reckon with enough thought and if its built for it those kind of revs would be achievable
  13. A stock 4k will go to 8300 we found out! Didn't blow a headgasket or anything, sounded pretty bad but.
  14. Bit of an understatement :P
  15. Just torrent Photoshop cs4 reed. You won't regret it.
  16. Any good?
  17. Very nice, I lol'd at the sorry no picture, picture. haha
  18. Took these photos for AltezzaClub and Snot35 Carbs are Keihin VE series with a cable choke that will look to work well with a corolla setup Just a standard K inlet manifold (4k-c) bigport wouldn't work as the runners are too close. Basically sawn off and ported out.. Inlet #1 and #4 line up pretty well but 2 and 3 are a little off. This will be easily fixed when i run the llonger hose to the carbs (4" or so) It'll all pull in nicely no worries, or i'll heat them up and tweak them slightly. But when the bike carbs will be sitting about 4" out then there'll bve no issue's at all. Also it's not true that you want the bike carbs on an angle, not with these anyway.. As it can trigger the overflow and the fuel will pour out the bottom.. Right where your altenator is. So potentially it could end unpleasantly.
  19. Keihin bike carbs. Can't remember exactly what they're off, I have it written somewhere but they were pre jetted for a tough 4k when I bought them. Anyway I'll go take pics now and put them in my thread instead of clogging up this one
  20. Sorry its not linked (on phone)
  21. I do quite enjoy seeing both yours and altezzaclubs posts on here. Mostly because to back up a statement you two post up intricate calculations to try and prove your point while I sit here looking at them like wtf? This does look to be a fairly nuts build and i look forward to seeing it unfold, I've heard the old the head won't flow more than 160rwkw remarks, which I believe to be partially true but if you can prove otherwise than that would be great, I'm sure I'm not the only who'd like to see how far you can take this.
  22. When you see the printer and ink for less than the ink itself, don't think oh yeah I'll just do that then.. the ink cartridges that come with printers are at best 15% filled Had to do all this at Tafe, and it won't print in black and white if a colour one is low.. its stupid but it's the way they are. Some have a little reset button that you can get away with a few more prints before changing it
  23. As I said stick your head under the front and look at the knuckles, easiest way to tell Any strut but ke10 will add positive camber
  24. Can't see any reason why not
  25. I thought you should be able to master cylinders through a brake place atleast? Plus America might be different to Australia in availability But yes I found out the hard way when I did my wheel cylinders.. Having it rebuilt/ sleeved is probably the way to go then
