i was woundering if anyone with this system had a vid of it in action. maby doing a burnout or somthing so we can see how tight the LSD is.

the ae71 would be much easyer to start with because as you say you don't have the change as manny parts. but 71s are rather expencive and getting hard to find. i don't think i a ae82 or 92 stuff would work. considering the engine is transvisly mounted the crossmember would be far differnet. they also don't have a transmition as such so a transaxle mount would be useless

yea i think the main point would be to try and get the 7 rib block. they are far stronger. but i supoze it dosnt rely matter as you said its not a race car its only gotta be relibale and have a little bit of poke

I'm a prety big 2t fan. but you can't rely go wrong with an 4age there are that manny party avalable to them. plus the have a big following in places like hear ae86dc or club 4a. so tech advice is never to far away id go the GE

i had a toyota 4runner for a bit it got jumped a few times up at stockton beach. prety funny when you see all the camping gear in the back fly up and hit the roof

i had a mate with a 2tg 3t hybrad in a t18 it went prety well two. i think he may still have the engine I'm not shur thow. but if you hav any questions i could ask him for you

cam regrinds for the 4k are prety cheap. do a little head work and some decent carbys will give you that little extra under foot. but its probly not worth it considering how easy the 4AGE converson is.
