  2. Hayashi Streets... think someone does them on Auszoku so you can order them new. hottest wheels ever!
  3. there's a tutorial somewhere on here or toymods(?) to flair guards. as for height, have a look around the members ride thread and see what height they are running, see which one tickles your fancy the most.
  4. This is my Corolla, havent owned it long, still working it out and stuff. When i bought it had no front guards, now has a sexy baby blue front on a white car haha. 1982 White, KE70 Flat Front. Thinking about 6kg/mm front springs and 4.5kg/mm rears with a 245mm free height hopefully getting rears next week and then have a search around for fronts. Ill get pictures over the weekend or next week. thanks for having a look.
  5. well, to me it kind of looks like a car...i could be wrong though. looks like the tyres have redwalls. car possibly has an engine... thats about all i know, sorry pal.
  6. Since my Corolla has no bonnet rod to hold bonnet up (feel free to give me one) was thinking about (for something different) getting some MX83 bonnet Gas Struts, for people that don't know the Cressidas have Gas Struts that hold the bonnet up instead of a metal road as the KE does. Thinking all you would need to do is weld some metal braces on to screw the struts into. But the Cressida bonnet is alot lighter than the KE bonnet, so this may cause problems with the struts actually working to hold the bonnet up. (MX73's have gas struts too, might be better than MX83 ones?) Has anyone done it before? Theories on it working? Thanks. (in before you're an idiot, why don't you just get a rod from the wreckers)
  7. I'm laughing so hard hahahaha sig'd
  8. was thinking make a trip over to boostlosing and pick up some low/ultralow kings from a commodore driver for cheap.
  9. I'm also in that boat, haha. nothing wrong with 4k anyway, they take a thrashing and can do a decent skid (in the wet)
  10. gotta remember the corolla is an extremely light car. don't need shitloads of power to get it to go. best option would be finding dudes with small/bigport/sr20 etc engines in their ke's or 86's and going for a ride with them see what sort of power you'd be chasing.
  11. run down to the wreckers and get a drivers seatbelt  keeping it n/a or turbo/supercharge? smallport comes stock as 100kw so better for N/A have a read of this to help you decide http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...ries_Engine_FAQ either way you're going to have alot of fun in it!
  12. had some fun in the rain yet with your locker? hahaha. Any particular reason for a bigport? Also, flat front > slant
  13. my bad still as OP said he is going cut falcons all round, would be more worthwhile AT LEAST getting kings in the front and cut falcons in the rear, as per your information. lurk the sales forums or post a wanted topic and some lowered springs are sure to pop up.
  14. don't be cheap, go buy some proper lowered springs. falcons are overly stiff anyway, something like 10/11kg (please correct my figure)
  15. get rid of it and put a button start in its spot. all the cool kids do it..
  16. you'll spend alot more time/money on doing up the stock engine rather than a conversion. you should be able to find someone selling all the parts for a 4k>4age conversion only way to be getting good power figures out of a 4k is to turbo anyway.
  17. Have a look at www.3tcgarage.com Pretty common on there I believe. If you can't find anything on it there just ask, plenty of dudes that know a lot about 3t/2t motors on there.
