even if you make a 4k scream you'll have about the same power as a 4ac. ae71 is a far smarter buy.

more so cheaper than easier with the demand for ae71 manual bits. a 3tc conversion might even pretty easy/cheap too. ae71 manual pedal box $100-$200. ta22 engine mounts $??. ae71 gearbox x member $50-$100. 3tc motor $50-$150. ke70 tailshaft $free-$50. t18 t50 $150-$200. actually that doesnt end up being cheap at all haha. either way its not going to be cheap doing 4ac manual conversion. but i personally wouldnt bother converting it to 4k, its a f@$k around and a massive backwards step. i guarantee you'll get bored of the 4k ~powah in a week and want to convert it to something decent anyway.

SLW is correct with the top hoses. but as bruce said, turn the thermostat housing 180 degrees and use ke70 rad. ta22 mounts on a ke70 crossmember is the way to go. ae71 pedal box, or i believe people have modded the t18 one to fit? plus a ke70 steering column

springs are springs unless yours arent very captive at all and you tend to hit things and bounce which gives a likely hood of a spring falling out. Should be right. Although general opinions of king springs is they sag a bit quicker as opposed to other springs. Their custom springs arent bad though.

there's more spring manufactures in the world than king springs...

its not a cheviot, cheviots have cheviot and then the size cast on the front of them and the spokes come down more pointed near the wheel nuts. look more like delta mesh but then again delta meshies have delta cast on them too. i know a guy that has a single one of them too. couldnt work out what it was.

tacho dash will bolt straight into your current loom.

you mentioned you have ae86 stuff to go in, and that the wheels had be scrubbing due to crappy offset bin them both and save yourself the hassle.
