  1. g or f series Kaaz, trd or any major brand. just google it.
  2. interesting, can you get a photo of your build plate? its debatable, but personally i think the borgy is a stronger diff in general. wont snap as many axels as you would with an s series, but you get good and bad diffs with either.
  3. sucks to be that guy that paid me $80 for a wagon tailshaft then. haha
  4. are you sure your ke70 hadnt broken a diff and someone replaced it with an s series? was under the impression all australian ke70's were borg warner unless panelvan
  5. sw20 shocks for front short stroke goodness.
  6. screw behind glovebox and screw behind dash cluster
  7. i run a locker on my registered car, too poor for lsd lol.
  8. how'd you come up with not much, theres so many threads on it. buuuuttt xt130 struts, brakes and LCAS, convert to coilovers with a sleeve kit (can be bought from otomoto) sw20 mr2 shocks, ae86 p/s arms or t3 steering arms oh and standard top hats unless you wish to run camber tops. rear coilovers can be bought from mcn motorsports from the UK or t3 in america, but they do cost a bit. other option for adjustable rears is ajps height adjustable spring seats which involves removing your bump stop and replacing with a spring seat which has a coilover thread. check www.ajps.com.au for them under products and ajps products. TRD blue's seem to be the way to go for shock choice in the rear as they are damper adjustable and short stroke. springs can also be bought from ajps in any height and rate. for street id go 4.5kg rear and for coilovers in the front something like a 6kg or 7kg.
  9. finally got front suspension sorted, just need to get a wheel allignment coilovers don't go low enough so its mexican and rear guards need a roll for hurricanes but easy done.
  10. wagon tailshafts are longer than sedan ones anyway
  11. weloding an s series haha
  12. couple reasons for softer in the rear, engine in the front, so theres going to be more weight (but then again theres a diff in the back). Also its more so to do with drifiting, you want more body roll in the rear so the rear end goes out easier which is why you'd have softer spring rates in the rear. Well thats just my understanding of it.
  13. can someone lock this thread, please.
  14. Hi Guys, Just finished putting st142 (i believe, either that or ma61 which is the same anyway) coilovers into my ke70. i Used ke25 LCA's, coilover sleeve kit, ma61 brakes, standard strut tops and then corona steering arms (soon to be replaced with t3 items) So i put everything in went to put my wheels on and noticed the car is running bucket loads of toe out. (was about 11pm so i really couldnt have been arsed attempting to fix it). Now would i get the toe issue due to the longer LCAs and not adjusting the rack ends to suit, or do i need longer rack ends? is it as simple as getting it to a wheel allignment place and getting an allignment? Keeping in mind i have done the same LCA conversion in my panelvan and used standard rack ends but i did run a lock spacer then. or because of the steering arms being too long and throwing it out of wack? Thanks in advance.
  15. it was meant for macca! haha also RN41 hilux is 5 stud rear end.
  16. What length are those trumpets? 90mm?
  17. Not 100% sure but read nissan forums and most people do a r33 brake conversion on their s13, so i can't see why you couldnt go s13 front end and then switch it over? Rears would just be a custom job, theres a car in the rides section that is 5 stud all round. White ke70 with red wheels might be worth a PM. Oh and orange ke has rego now ;)
  18. Sooooooooooo those wheels are 110 not 114.3 stud pattern so theyre getting returned and i might buy some 14x9 mk2's, or if anyone knows of old 5 stud ford centrelines for sale ill buy them ;) Got rego yesterday and picking up my steering arms tonight. Oh and RCA's came from AJPS on Monday.
  19. people just need to put kill switches in and park in well lit areas. Althought this sucks hard that they are getting stolen, theres been lots of imports going missing on the gold coast as of late. Few people on secretdrift have had theirs stolen then found later thrashed and no petrol.
  20. I'm under 6ft and I'm almost at the roof, definitely not suited for a corolla. Might order a bride Monday. Just waiting for ra65 arms so I can put everything together, RCA's will be here Monday and I have Tuesday off to go register the car. Will hopefully get a lot done next week. Thanks for the kind words people (:
  21. it'd be the same as the ke70s either a 175/70 or a 165/75 I have an owners manual at home ill have a look when i can edit googled it and came up with this http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/19676-what-is-the-stock-size-tyres-for-ke70/
