  1. Braided clutch lines are win, my exhaust has fallen onto mine many a times.
  2. Theres a guide in the current 86 garage magazine, i'll scan it when my copy arrives. Have you googled it?
  3. Cutting and shutting arms is not for amateurs I wouldn't recommend cut and shut for street cars.
  4. This, I've had 14x8 -15 under stock guards with just the inner lip flattened.
  5. Firewall isnt really necessary, doesn't need to be that far back. Actually depending what box you go.
  6. Have you actually ever drifted with a manual rack? I'd choose a manual rack of P/S any day of the week. JDM ae86's came with a power steering rack which you can buy whole set ups for $400~ from Just JDM Imports in Brisbane. Waste of time though. How does power steering help a locked diff? LOL
  7. Well I'm fairly sure they are, i know Dave bought the moulds from Gilly and knowing Dave i doubt he'd let people get away with copying them. Haha
  8. Madhouse lips are patented so i doubt you'll get away with making and selling those
  9. Tape them up and newspaper around them Rattle can black Easy
  10. As stated talk to the person that's going to tune it, no use buying an ECU then going around to people nearby and they have no idea about it, then having to drive hours whenever you need a tune. Hear a lot of people talk about their Adaptronics losing their tune, don't know if its specific tuners that do it wrong or an ECU issue. Link G4 is good stuff, reasonably priced too.
  11. Oh yeah i've got access to a hoist now too if you need to use it!
  12. Really cool colour! Are you going to respray it in the factory colour or do silver? Wheels on that silver car are 14", look a whole lot better than 15" wheels imo.
  13. Wheels would look 1000x better in silver!
  14. Ask for a front shock from a 1984 Suzuki Sierra if they can't find it hang up and go somewhere else.
  15. I repaced my hardline, was a bitch. Except i just put another one out of an AE71 i found in a paddock, i've never seen the hardline getting a hole where yours is though, ends snap at fitting a lot though. When you put the lines in, i did about half in the brackets then zip tied the rest up. Winner. Hurry and bring this down.
  16. Nothing wrong with cut kings in the rear, zip tie them in if you're worried about them falling out, which is never going to happen anyway. Just buy some AJPS springs for the front, or custom kings. Normal king springs are too soft and start sagging fairly quick. 5kg front will be good for daily. Depending how low you go, might require some shorter stroke shocks.
  17. I had Sierras, they were win. Get whatever is cheapest. Gabriel should be fine. From memory it's 1986-1992 Front shocks, can get them on eBay for around $140pair.
  18. You can't engineer coilovers since they are height adjustable, if they are fixed its fine though. Which completely negates the coilover concept.
  19. No use running aftermarket ECU unless you're doing serious engine mods (quads, massive cams)
  20. KU31, 595/HZ1, import RE-01's from Japan. There's heaps out there if you know what you're looking for.
