2 inches is a fair bit, but every man to his own, i can only say it reduces

suspension travel, ground clearance and alters front end geometry the lower

it goes. RCA's (roll centre adjusters) will fix the geometry problem though.

i'm keen to get a set of ebay specials ; those lovells and kyb shocks. seem like a cheap option to get my suspension sorted a bit. anyone have any bad experiences with either brand of shocks or the seller?

I have purchased a complete set of Lovells Super Low springs for my '94 Pulsar, and a complete set of KYB Struts from the seller. He's very pleasant, and answers his emails promptly.

I have also purchased Lovells Super Lows for the front of my Corolla. For what its worth, I highly recommend (Claude) him.

 

I can't Fault the KYB shocks/struts. They do their job fine, and are pretty firm. I picked up 4 Struts for $410, whereas Pedders quoted $700 for their brand. So the Struts are good value too.

Dodgy but super cheap way of getting low stiff springs in a KE20 is to cut down some Kingswood (HZ) rear springs. Should be able to make two corolla springs from one kingswood one :)

 

just make sure you have really good shocks to control them as I found that my front wheels spent half their time off the ground

i have KYB's in my pulsar, they are great, they are stiff but ride is still quite good.

 

they've been in for at least two years now and are still going strong
