haha thanks for the springs fook, but i don't have a ke30 anymore :) xany they were um, pretty f@$kin low. the control arms pointed upwards at rest!

 

i precision engineered the springs with my angle grinder to be lower than the bump stops but high enough to give you SOME suspension travel. which is great until you go over a bump (even like a reflector in the road) and punch the bottom out of the new damper inserts which you put in last week, as well as giving yourself a nice jarring as your spine attempts to enter your skull

 

it looked f@$king wicked tho :) and still had about 11cm ground clearance at the lowest point!

How you had 110mm ground clearance on those springs I have no idea... I've only got 102mm ground clearance currently...

Actually, I don't mind being this "old"! I feel way cooler than I did 11 years ago.... back then I had a bomby car, a job I hated (cafe chick) and got paid crap. I had to live with my parents (uck), study all of the time (uck) and had no money to go out.

 

I wasn't navigating either so I didn't have the contacts or the experience to do things like Targa Tas. And I realise more and more that there is SO much to be said for older guys! :)

 

So I actually don't see any benefit to being 11 years younger! No offence, but I can honestly say that I love being 28 - life is really really good!!
